As you all know The Magic Roundabout opens at the cinemas this week.....but who is using the kids as an excuse to see it for themselves......a bit of nostagia (have i spelt that right)........and what else would you like to see return.....i heard that they were bringing back a growns up version of Rainbow!
I wanna see it, but buggered if I am taking the kids.
I love rainbow!!!! and Jamie and his magic torch!
The only consolation I get from having to get up at the crack of dawn everyday with a toddler are The Clangers and Bagpuss on C5 .
But I won't be watching Magic Roundabout. I just know I'd be disappointed. It's just a parody of itself with slick Toy Story annimation and big stars eager to show they had childhoods just like the rest of us. The cool of Nostalgia.
didn't change it quickly enough did i? lol
I've seen the Magic Roundabout, wen't to a preview and it is fabulous and suitable for kids and adults.
I don't remember the original very well although I have seen repeats (I'm too young) but I thought this was great!
Go see it
Sassy x
Well that's our first positive review......looks like we will be seeing The Magic Roundabout next week then!
Hope they re do captain pugwash
what was the name of the ship?
Skylark? Or am I thinking of something else?
who has a magic roundabout what happens when you get on it.
Anyway I am to young for this and would rather see transformers or he-man in the cinema.
Mike
and what else would you like to see return
I'd like to see Batfink and his 'wings of steel' heh
:P
wasnt the skylark in rhubarb & custard
but more importantly what was the name of hong kong phooes cat ( how do you spell that)
"All aboard the Skylark" was from a kids programme called Noah & Nelly
Well I'd like to see the return of Captain Pugwash and Puff the Magic Dragon.
I was far too young to appreciate the humour in these programmes when they were first shown.
