I believe in being honest because I/we want to meet like minded people. Quite a while back I posted a topic here called avioding confusion in which I stated that I Mr Tweeky would be the one answering most and that I would sign off Mr Tweeky. This is fine for the forum and it has worked well for me but not so well at the photo ads. When I/we get Pm's I just reply, I dont sign off with anything as the sender is responding to our ad as a couple therefore what does it matter who answers confused

: On quite a few occasions after 2-3 mails I/we get asked who is sending the mail. Its a perfectly reasonable question that I answer honestly i.e. Mr Tweeky smile

The normal response is ....feck all. Why is it that people who send us PM's seem to expect the woman of the couple to be the main user :?: Are they simply single men trying to pull my wife :?: dont blame them biggrin

couples that are not real couples :?: or just people unhappy with men :?:

Mr Tweeky, we seem to have this problem. They only seem to want to talk to me & not his. I leave all the ads to his while I talk bollox on here lol

People can be so rude- if you reply to an ad stating Couples then you should expect to talk to both.

One experience I recall involved a couple (I use the term looooooosly) I started talking to in the old chatroom. They were quite the regulars in this chatroom and on at least one other site I knew of.
Anyway, things moved on to chatting on msn. It always seemed to be the guy saying he was typing and you start to recognise their typing style - but I saw nothing strange in that. I wasn't really suspicious as they had quite a well known username in the chatroom - but through experience - I am always extra careful to ensure we discuss what the expectations are by all involved when meeting couples.
I explained my do's and don'ts and expectations of play. He explained his expections - what he wanted to happen. I asked "What about XXXX (wifes name), is that what she wants?"
The one word answer that came back just said it all for me...
"hopefully"

We have the same problem as i ( ) will do most of the chatting on here, alot of the time people assume its the woman typing.
If on the odd occasions gets on here chatting she will sometimes turn the cam on to prove its her and not me, and chat to the woman of the couple.
I dont look good in a dress anyway :lol: :lol:

we thought it was just us!!!!!!!!!!!!
we always r both here , more or less when we`re online......
but people can be a bit funny about it ....alll they want is to get the female 1/2 of the couple so they can talk dirty 4 a couple of minutes and get their rocks off then vanish.....

I think the answer is in the responses above.
If people are talking to a couple in order to arrange a meet they often expect contact with both. If they're not getting that from yourselves they might stop contact because they think you are a bloke on your own.

Although me and HLB have separate accounts, my own point of view is that if one of us were to PM you or respond to your ad and there seemed to be as little input from Mrs Tweeky in the answers, as there is in the forum; I would become a little suspicious.
You posting for both of you in the forum is one thing, and quite acceptable. But . . . . it only gives people a slight insight to yourpersonality as Mrs Tweeky.
I couldn't possibly remember all the comments you make about her, or opinions you give that are hers.
I have already built up an "idea" of you. Some of your opinions, attitudes, and sense of humour etc. I know absolutely nothing about Mrs Tweeky's personality. I can see that she's physically gorgeous, but that's enough to prompt me to PM you to start the "compatibility" ball rolling. If you were to approach one or both of us, I would wonder if it were possible that Mrs Tweeky could be a reluctant participant "going along with" her husbands wishes/desires/fantasies.
Based on what you've written above, Mr Tweeky; we wouldn't even get to the "fem to fem early phone call"
That's not a dig at the Tweekys - but it doeshappen. In the case of either sex. And it's normally blatantly obvious and a horrible situation to find yourself.

I've never met anyone based purelyon the Photo Ads.
All my meets and playing have been as a result of the forum, munch and social interaction. All or any.
HLB is now more or less the same, but to a stronger degree in that she won't play unless she's met/seen someone in a social environment. Actually, that should read "won't even consider playing unless . . . . "
I'm not saying ours is a perfect way. Or even the right way.
It's just a point of view.

We/I always assume its a single fella no matter what until at a very early stage we all chat on the phone.... saves so much hassle and confussion.

We agree with you, allways seems to be males that reply to me assuming that i will be the one on the keyboard, when we both share, post and go into a chatroom.
Also we always insist on both of us chatting on phone to singles or both half of cpls before anymeets we have.

But why is it that all/most of the 'couples' profiles have a pic of the fem and not the male or even both of you in the avatar? Who are you putting in the shop window for everyone to see? If it's mainly the man typing then why make the profile look female by sticking a picture of the mrs in the avatar?
A single guy browsing the forum is going to look at the avatar and think "Oh, she looks nice I'll send her a pm" ........ would he think the same if the pic in the avatar was the guy or even of the couple?
You could even have a profile each like Sam and myself ........ then there's no confusion at all about who gets all the pm's ........ Sam does! lol

This is something we never have a problem with because of the way our "couples seeking guys" advert is written, it tells them that Tony will be responding lol

yep, same here, as some of you know, both Caron and I like to have a chat on messenger to while away our evenings (well, thers nowt but c**p ont telly and yes we should get out more ) rolleyes

anyway my point is, my msm: 5 females, who incidentally never seem to log in

Carons msm: 4 couples, 4 fems and 46 single guys :roll:
so now you now why I spend so much time talking bollox in here, and why we see so little of Caron sheâ€™s sat on her machine cybering her cute little arse off, while drown my sorrows in the GFZ rotflmao

mind you, it does have its rewards wink

Getting back to the initial subject redface

I have also wondered why so few ads only have pics of the fem in them, when we are browsing the adds Caron gets quite annoyed sometimes, as much as she enjoys oggeling at the lovely ladies, she would quite like to see what the fella looks like too.

A very good point Dambuster and some of the other points too :)
I guess its just one of those things where I already spend an hour at least maybe 2 a day posting here there would simply not be time for both of us to do that, other things around the house would end up getting left out.
Simple reason why there is no picture of me in the public are and that is I wont have a face pic up for obvious reason and I dont exactly have the body for an advert sad

as you have all seen in some fo the threads. That gives me one option left, a clothed picture with the face blurred out, kinda pointless dont you think?
Anyway for now I am happy with attending the bristol munch and replying to the photo ads we get and letting them die a death as normal :) Some of you will get to meet Mrs Tweeky there, so you can get an idea then.
