Tan!! I was gonna ask for a glass of milk and you've ruined it now lol
Hello Will wave
xxxx
Hello, my dear! A long time no speak. I CAN serve milk (but only if it is warmed and has whisky added to it). Why not entrust yourself to my care and let me look after you! :rascal: . But then, Sappho did that once - and look what happened to her!
Will
How is the lovely Sappho?
and it's lovely to see you again in here kiss

Gufuncouple - oh you do have excellent (and expensive) taste. Chateau Petrus (as I am sure you know) has a reasonable claim to being the best wine in the world. The '48 would cost tens of thousands a bottle!
DG - pass me your hand - purely for measurement purposes, you understand! :rascal:
FB!!!!!!! I was hoping you would drop by, passionkiss sillyassionkiss: :passionkiss:
Now then, how's the port situation looking? It's getting to that time of night when it might be needed.
Will

*passes hands*
*widens eyes*
Oh my will... you are pleased to see me!! :rascal:
*moves up*
Could I have a top up please?
What would your recommendation be?
We're open for busienss again. Some may feel it's a little early, but the sun is over the yard arm*, so I think it's time for a little livener.
Will
PS Being a land-locked county, they build yard arms very low in Wiltshire!! biggrin

You're my kind of barman!
Could I have a champagne and pomegranate juice please? (The fruit will count as breakfast, yes? wink)

Could I have a champagne and pomegranate juice please? (The fruit will count as breakfast, yes? wink)Whilst I should tick you off for putting pomegranate juice in decent champagne, I can tell you that not only does it count as breakfast but it's also one of your five a day. That makes it a health drink - so you can have as much of it as you like!:D
Will - always happy to help!

To be fair, you could chuck some cava in it and I'd probably be none the wiser :giggle:
Loving the five-a-day aspect... could you make me up a pitcher in that case?
lol
Are you making breakfast too then?!

Surely the grapes in the champagne/cava count as another of your 5-a-day :giggle:
Additionally to the fruit aspect, pomegranate juice is very high in antioxidants, so it must therefore act as a tonic and should be consumed daily, surely?
About to start on assignments...can I have some brain juice please :silly:
Oh and can someone tell me how I can be objective about writing an essay on phobias when I am gripped by one myself
xxx
Ahhh, I have often used the grapes in wine argument myself.
My view is that I get juniper from gin, grapes from wine, I always put lemon and lime in my gin and tonic. So there's 4 of my 5 a day! lol
DG, not only am I making breakfast but I am also cooking lunch. There will now be a gap in service while I go and carve, sit down to lunch and then there's the clearing away. See you all later.
Will
Okay... where can I get one of you? dunno
Ugh, hairy dogs. *heaves*
I've only just surfaced after the debauched shinanigans in the SH bar. :rascal: lol A much welcome return, thanks Will. x
Can I have a glass of ice cold lemonade please?
*lends Neil to DG for sunday dinner cooking purposes*

Sappho says that she is more than happy to lend me out - as long as she can have me back afterwards. Now then, don't all rush at once! :rascal:
Actually, the apricot crumble was a bit fab - even if I do say so myself!
Sorry to have been away so long, but I am now back for the duration. TE, good to see you
Rught then, who's next?
Will
I thought I saw a bottle of Babycham in here earlier.......
Sits quietly in the corner pondering life over a highball of Canadian Club..innocent
Also, my bowl of olives has run out.....:upset:
Errmmm, no babycham in here dunno but I now know that you are far more sophisticated than that anyway.
Enjoy your Canadian Club whilst I take this Merlot over to Kaz and give her her massage.
*Will warms up his hands and gets out the baby oil :rascal:*
Okay, so I've been to bed and had to get up again because I was wide awake and someone next to me clearly wasn't. Given the hour, maybe a nice warming hot chocolate with a slug of brandy to send me off to the land of nod, please.
Okay... I need a big glass of wine... who's naked and throwing on the apron? :rascal:
*gets into the hot tub*
Anyone joining me?
Do you think will would mind me sneaking in and popping a cork or two? wink
