SH Towers General Post Office
Message from the Postmaster General
I am pleased to announce that as from today, the 13th day of November 2005, with permission from the BBD, SH Towers will open its very own Post Office.
For those going on holiday, and suffering from withdrawal symptoms, you can now send a real postcard to all of you friends here and a scan of the postcard will be put up on this thread. An exclusive and easily remembered address has been obtained.

Please remember your postcard will be seen by people who are unaware of this site, so some discretion is expected. The words Swinging Heaven are not to be used or I may have some explaining to do. Although the initials SH are acceptable.

Bugger it, I only have one holiday a year (a long weekend at the seaside in November) and I only find out about this when I get back, I could have sent you all one.

Marms! I saw you log on and post from Egypt and sent you a hasty pm asking you to send a card, but I missed you by minutes it seems. I left the pm there until you got back and then deleted it. Next time eh?
On another note. I have been thinking about using PO Box 69 as some kind of central point of contact for anyone who is offline forother reasons.....
Such as Vix yesterday when her computer crashed, luckily she was only offline for less than a day, but it can be a way for people to just let others know they are OK and it'll take xxx weeks for them to be online again.
I'm sure I could think of other uses too wink
