Greetings all
Sometimes I start to sing a long to the silliest of tunes that seems to get stuck in your head for no apparent reason other than you heard them nothing to do about liking them it just gets engraved on your mind.
Its also quite embarrasing when someone catches you singing them! redface
I have a 3 year old toddler so you can imagine I pick up some toddler tunes from the one at the moment that I seem to hum along to is from Big Cook/Little Cook-weve got the cleanest cafe in town. rolleyes (I must get out more)lol
What tunes drive you crazy that you cant get out of your head?
lipupfattyman by bad manners has a habit of sneaking in me head and is a devil to get out

Cwm Bai Yah - sang around a camp fire about 30 years ago - still remember the dodgey saddle sniffing scout leader confused
Balamory song is bad I agree, but the set is even I had neighbours with houses painted in those colours I would have to leave.
When i get a silly tune in my head, I stick my fingers in my ears and sing "ting aling aloo"
Kum By Yah you mean 34fun????
When I was a cb scout leader a few years ago my pack all used to sing CUCUMBER instead!!!!

Last Boat to Cairo by Madness
Jeremiah was a Bullfrog - Creedance Clearwater Revival
and a childs nursery rhyme:-
Five Little Speckled Frogs, Sat on a wooden log
Eating the most delicious grubs, yum yum
One jumped into the pool
Where it was nice and cool
Then there were 4 green speckled frogs etc etc etc.

The stupid ''Elmo Song''...Arghhh... I can hear it in my head already..
Mr B is Banana's in pyjamas...
with me it's 'Stay' - Jackson Browne - such a cool song!
When i was on the Ark Royal i shared a bathroom (heads) with about 200 other guys. The best way to piss the whole crew off was to whistle or hum some stupid tune first thing in the morning.
It would take about an hour for the whole ship to go around whistling the birdie song and never knowing why they were doing it.
rolleyes   Little things amuse little minds.

I didn't have any annoying tunes stuck in my head until i read this post, now Balamory has crept in and i'm damned if i can shake it! I think there must be some insidious hypnotic marketing ploy embedded in kids programmes theme tunes... maybe if you play them backwards you here the voice of the devil! lol

I always seem to be humming the tune to the 80's tv programme The Flumps ... another is the theme to Elmo's world ... or the great escape theme .. but thats usually only at work LOL

Whenever i am on a Newcastle bound train i always have the,'Get Carter' tune going through my head! cool
Maybe this should be in the ,'Quirks' thread? dunno
cc_7up
whats the purpose of your visits to Newcastle? Not avenging lost love ones I hope, I think if I heard some one humming the tune to get carter on atrain to newcastle it'd put me on edge.
Still at least the tune that gets stuck in your head is slightly cooler than the theme tune to recess which seems to be lodged in my noggin
