As I lie here suffering from 'flu, trying to work up enough energy to write the Xmas cards that need to be posted tomorrow, I thought it would be nice to have a thread where people can post requests for cyber-hugs or offers of same - for anything from flu to relatives descending for the holiday.
So here is my hug - for anyone currently buried under a pile of duvet, paracetamol and aches.

wot a lovely idea - perhaps people could use the hug u sent for wot they need it the most.
i'd like to accept your hug for feeling a bit lonely. family live quite far away and most friends are busy with their own families.
i'd like to send a hug to anyone who needs it at this time of year when people are supposed to be merry and jolly and not everyone can be or want to be due to different circumstances.
there's also a hug for all the lovely friendly people on sh who have welcomed us over the past few weeks,

i dont normally do huggy stuff, but, I'll have one tonight for absent friends.

Oh !!! I'll trade hugs right now as I'm off to hospital tomorrow with the delightful thought if all goes well and I make a speedy recovery I'll be out on Xmas Eve ( I'll be looking for the discharge papers just in case ). If not I'll be having an NHS Xmas lunch and watching Corrie on a 3 inch TV that cost's that much to watch I'll have to part X a kidney to pay for.
So hugs to anyone who needs them.
