That is just dam unfair to other single guys, you should be ashamed of yourself, not everyone on here has the programming skills to cheat the system..
And apart from that, i am sure swinging heaven don't want there bandwidth getting supped up like that if a bunch of people got the same idea..would make the site slower for the rest of us.
I hope the admin team will do something to stop this in the future as quite frankly i am sure not everyone wants to see your add permanently at the top of the list every time they do a search..
You should try to start using the system in a less selfish manor and get to know people through forums and chat!

Rather more seriously, and trying to extract some benefit from the funeral-pyre of Hornybunny's reputation, his ad is vastly better than some of the garbage put out by women and couples. If they sharpened up their act, maybe they would not get so many unwanted PMs...?

To be honest your post almost sounds sarcastic..... I have loads of good acquitainces too from here, including couples that "dont talk to single guys" Perhaps some people dont want it known that they do "talk to single guys" as they would get inundated with emails/PM's etc.... Oh and how nice of you to brag about how many people you have met from the site.... I see discretion is one of your finer points as well :roll:

Well... actually the reason is quite innocent... and i REALLY REALLY must apologise for it (sorry admins... no really)... i had more than 1 ad in a category ... which is fair enough... i was doing a server update (well more a crontab update).. and i un checked the "update SH profile" box.. and.. it re-updated an old profile (its now disabled)
i try not to piss off the admin staff as i know they have tonnes to do on this site.. hence the apology
but... *smile*.. back now

Thanks for that Shaz... and yes..probally it could be seen as cheating the system... but i'm sure people would like to know the benefits of photo ads....there are posts every single day about how can i make mine better.... so... i hoped that this post would do just that...
oh.. and as for bandwidth... it was less than 2k a time... so... bandwidth .. hardly took up any.
I personally... also would prefer something like this to be done.. so that the admin can improve the site... as re-introducing the 4 hour rule is a fantastic idea..(surprised they took it off)..
Basically SnT.... one other reason is that the chatroom killed my PC everytime... the forums were being overrun... (i refer to the post "twaddle" by... think its Lissa.. the hottie on the motorbike)... its really good that people can discuss something... rather than the same old "welcome to the forums" type post.. and get their teeth into something (hopefully not me.. i'm not into that pain thing).. so.. basically.. turned back to the ads..
and on another note... i see certain... *cough*.. people posting the same type of message to get noticed on the boards... why is this any different?
as the french say.. "jewar de vivra" or something like that :-) (although i did get a B at GCSE)
SnT.. i could quite easily have just NOT post this post in and found another way to expolit the system... in one way or another... but... really.. tell you the truth.. cant be arsed... i'd rather go "this needs fixing, this is why.. do it"....

i could have put it every minute.. but i used this grey matter and 2 minutes and average from the peak and off peak times that a profile header will stay in the "latest updated" page

Actually... this is a point that i would really like to spend some time on ....there are no doubt countless profiles.. "we want x... or y" but why do people add on their profile "we have been let down again"... what is it that made them choose THAT person in the first place.... maybe go for people who have a well written ad...

As Polo said.. she looked at my profile....it didnt float her boat.. and i respect people for that.. but what people should gather more from that... more than the fact she blew me off faster than a balloon in a hurricane (i love that qutoe)... is that she was... able to make up her mind.. and that is the most important thing.... lots of people put a tiny piddly thing in their profile.. which doesnt really convey who they are.. mine i hope... does.. so.. errr ... there.
