To say I'm seething is an understatement
YOU CANNOT change your profile postcode once entered!!! Like a twat I entered mine and now anyone knowing my first name and first part of my postcode can find out my address, home phone numbers, etc because I have a business online.
There is nothing left for me to do but delete the whole account.
Be very careful users of SH ... this system has not been thought through at all and I will not risk my safety.

It would appear that once entered you can't change it or hide it, as Calista has said.
There is an option that says "display none" , but it doesn't work. I too am not happy as we have very genuine reasons for keeping this information private.
I don't mind the site owners/administrators knowing anything about us including home adress, but we don't want this information made public.

I'm with you on this one. You cant switch off the newsletter thing either. Now I am happy to wait and hear that it is a bug, otherwise
