Well because we read the plays, we all had parts that ran through the whole term, i ususally got chosen as the main character which i enjoyed ie macbeth, romeo, hamlet etc. I also liked that school helped us understand shakespeares writings and learn to appreciate them, well some of us did.
That explains it. I wasn't questioning your love of Shakespeare but why you couldn't continue to enjoy it.
Now I understand what it is you miss.
