When I was a kid I used to hate spinach, olives, garlic. Now I love them smile .
From about the age of four I was forced to take piano lessons as my parents thought they might have a young Mozart on their hands. I hated classical music until I fell ill a few years ago and found myself listening to Classic FM. I developed a fondness for popular classics, though still listen mostly to blues & rock cool .
I used cringe when I heard peope with broad Cork accents (my home town) being interviewed on radio or TV. Now I love it biggrin .
How have your tastes changed over time ? What do you no longer dislike ? Conversely, what things that you once enjoyed do you no longer like ?
Can't believe that I spent most of my 20's hating wine!!! Made up for that since though smile
As regards music - spent my youth on a diet of pure Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, JethroTull, Cream and the like. Although I don't dislike that stuff I now tend to listen to more middle of the road stuff befitting my age (40 ishhhhhhhhh), status and stamina :)
Can't think of anything else that's changed much by way of taste.
i used to hate avocado and french dressing - now love both of them.
equally used to love chocolate and am not much of a fan anymore.

Bizarrely I have developed a mild phobia of cotton wool and balloons in recent years (feck knows why lol) I mean they are just evil!

I heard it's a built in defence mechanism, it helps stop kids eating anything which may be poisonous ... if it tastes bitter or strange it's usually gonna damage u.
As we get older we unlearn this.

It's olives and wine for me too! Never thought I'd develope a taste for them, but now both are integral parts of the weekly shop!
Noooo stop talking about olives!! I used to hate them but now I love them but I don't have any in the house and I really really want some!!

Ah, it's all about choosing the right bottle! My brother fancies himself as quite the wine expert and since I aquired the taste a good 4 years or so ago, he's been trying to educate me...

Best way to avoid the hangover is lots of water before bed - helps stop you dehydrating which is how the hangover is caused. Mind you, you will keep going to the loo :) HTH.
