just drop it in the bin outside instead
then get another one for the little one and explain that the other one was really poorly and is now in a better place safe and not in pain anymore
it saves them seeing it dead in the first place
I suppose its a bit too late to point out that hamsters hibernate and appear dead if there is a shortage of food or water? We found that one out the hard way, RIP waggles, I still have nightmares about the claw marks on the biscuit tin lid, discovered when my curious 8 year old dug him up to se if he had gone to heaven.
Move a little soil so it looks like you have buried the hamster and put it in the bin. I made the mistake of burying our guinea pig and ended up digging it up 3 years later when I was doing a make over of the garden :sad:
I am also in giggles over the rabbit story!!!! and i know i shouldnt be!!
My day is getting better
On the way home from football Tueaday we had the radio on and they were on about pet insurance and was it worth it, some woman rang in and mentioned she had spent somewhere near £1000 on her pet animal for some hip surgery, you shouldnt but I did laugh when she said two weeks later it was knocked down
When at school;
don't forget how many grandparents you've "killed off" in order to be excused from doing your homework.
