This message comes up when i click on some profiles "This member is currently banned from the site" confused

How can ya get on the site if ya banned?

You can't. But people can still view their profiles.

Its most likely the member has been banned for some indiscretion(s) in the chatroom and has yet to log off the server....
Sometimes the kick/ban does not kick chatters from the server (this problem has been fixed for the new chatrooms) so are still online...
Once they log off they will not be able to log back in untill the ban expires..

Members get banned for a number of reasons .
We were banned for two weeks because photos we put on the site showed a third person. We all have to abide by the rules of the site this was one of them.
During the time we were banned we couldn't get onto the site , or make contact with other people.
Other people could still see our profile and ads.

ya can I was banned (due to my own request) recently for 24 hours and I could still log on but you can only access one page and that is the profile editing one. I guess its so as ya can remove pics and profile text. So as I was logging in it still showed me as online and it showed when I was last online smile

I doubt you were banned for that sole reason.....The pics would have been removed...
ALL profiles are viewable but some will say the member is banned.

Yes Mallock it was the sole reason.
We had been warned that a third person must not be shown in photos
posted on this site. We thought that being a swinging site and people were advertising for other partners this rule would not be enforced.
So you get a warning and if you dont listen to it you are banned.
And yes your photos are removed.
It was no big thing for us , we accepted the sites decission.

Either they are only banned for a certain length of time or they are able to log in just enough to remove the pictures, I think confused

Ronda just admitted she ignored her first warning, naughty Ronda smackbottom

We don't just go for a 2 weeks ban unless a member has broken the AUPs big style. For any offense we try to warn first, often a couple of times rolleyes

The last online time will show if a person has either attempted to log in to removed their details or to check when their ban will be lifted. It does not mean they have been active onsite as such :thumbup:

Don't think they are that bothered Dawnie... when their ban is up, they will be in their 80's and it will be a nice reminder about how they once were wink
