This sites new (Re-Vamp) is Fantastic now!

I have been here for 5 years and this new change Re-Vamp! is for the better a great home page local to you members inclusion and more features available even if your not a full member, Great! I think i've been wanting this for so long and i thank the sites admins, mods and techy team for this, now it really makes my visit worth while and triples my excitement here. Others are pleased im sure just as equaly. ;)

Thanx! a reply so quick thats good there moderator couple ur on the ball!, lovely! Woo Hoo!;). Yeh like i said this is a great change. I visit the chat only sometimes and didnt really visit here that often, just to check if i had any mail, mostly tho not anything sad

but now im sure i will visit more often because of the re-vamp and maybe my chances of finding someone here will be better and i maybe post again here in the forum to reply to a topic or start one of my own? lol ;)

Have to agree the new site is brilliant, though I've not been hiding in the background as long as Almundo. The old site was good and functional, but the new layout and scheme to the site makes it that much easier to use! smile

We don't like the new layout of the adverts pages,and hardly go in there now,which is a shame because that wasn't the way before all this messing about with the site!

We concur..... The Ads pages are now very difficult to scan through and are almost useless by comparison to the old one. All the rest is pretty cool.

I have to say that I find the new layout much less instinctive and user friendly than the old format, it looks like someone has taken a 'mac' format and tried to replicate it with all the random colours and smooth edges. They are trying to be too clever with the format and before it was much simpler, less difficult to figure out, I mean it just took me about ten minutes to figure out how to add a bloody photo to my profile and now it has to be 'vetted' what the ruddy hell is happening to this site!!!!
Hmm ranting over, I'll get off my soapbox and try to figure out how many hamsters will die as I try to post this...

Photos have always had to be approved.

Welcome to the forums Almundo.
The bits I use often are a bit prettier. In terms of use I haven't noticed much difference (I still have trouble finding features I don't use regularly). I cant abide the forum quote boxes now because its way too difficult to work out who has quoted who and who is posting. I mourn the day they removed the choice of colours for chat fonts.
