Tickling sticks, do you use them ??

What is a tickling stick you may ask. I'm sure there are many types, all with different guises. Ours tends to be the corner of any newspaper, about 4" long and twisted and folded to a point. The most important thing is what you do with it (in this instance size really does not matter).
After skilfully assembling your tickling stick ask your partner to very slowly run it over requested part of face/body. Tracing eyes, brows, neck, ears, for a successful tickle never enter the nasal region - this can provoke a violent reaction!!
I defy anyone to endure lip tracing without twitching or rubbing furiously. Give it a try - it's well worth the fun.

I always thought a tickling stick was a device to dust bookcases...
No I admit to not having used a newspaper in that way. Usually I am content with people's fingertips but stay awayfrom my nostrils! LOL

I dont have a stick as such I use my tongue and fingers which I know is not the same but hey ho lol

I have never used a newspaper, does the sun work best or would ypou go for the times or telegraph?
I personally find that feathers work very well, goose are good but owl feathers are wonderfully soft!

Its no good, I 've tried sitting on my hands, I went for a long walk, I even tried some work ffs, but I've just got to do it!

I've found that pulling the wings off Blue Bottles and just dropping em on her back works just as well and saves me the bother.

Err yes but not in context you mean! Normally use it after I've used my crop to provide a different feel and soothe the affected area! :twisted:
