The moderator hat that is..
The â€˜feelâ€™ and ethos of the site has changed so much that Iâ€™m spending less and less time here than I ever did previously and as youâ€™re no doubt aware the majority of my time is now being spent elsewhere. This used to be my home on the internet but since the decorators have been in it just doesnâ€™t feel as comfortable as it used to.
I hope I'll still be able to pop into the forums from time to time (unless of course my membership disappears) but I have no desire to give the impression that Iâ€™m still helping to moderate a site when clearly Iâ€™m not. That would be unfair to all concerned.
Itâ€™s been a fun 3 years ........

I also would like to be de-modded. This Site is nothing like the one I originally joined and no matter what help, advice, time or assistance we offer, it is obviously looked on as a painful interuptiion on the pursuit of the mighty dollar. The whole ethos of the Site has now changed and I do not want to be associated with the running of it.
I have more important things to worry about in my life.

good luck to you both. I've enjoyed your little interventions and sense of humour. I don't bother too much with this site anymore either. It has changed immensely. I don't feel very comfortable here anymore.

Lets face it guys the hats were a bit daft anyways, I mean this is the U.K. and sitting in front of your screens and having to wear a green Stetson with a tin star on the front every time you logged in must have made you feel a bit of a tit sometimes.....anyways thanks for keeping it on the straight and narrow for all this time.

I feel I have done all I can do here. I AM NOT flouncing from the site, I just do not agree with what SH has become and do not wish to be associated with the changes. I also AM NOT flouncing from the community that made SH what it was.... may that community thrive and flourish forever, regardless of where we now call home.

im sorry to hear the desision you three have made today, blue and mal i have not yet met you, i say not yet, as from what i understand you have resigned from MODing , not swinging, so i hope one day we will meet either due to you being a member here still and attending a munch or through other events.... Steve, im going to blame it all on you lol.

Well to me this is and end to an era - one that I have flounced back and forward to over the last 2 years. Steveg although I am sorry to see you leave this site as a moderator, your life now with Blonde seems to me your priority and you are happy so I think even if the site hadnt changed you may have hung your hat up. Take care and will hopefully stay in contact.

Dunno what else to say other than Thankyou for the time and effort & energy that you've put into SH thus far.
I kinda feel like this was inevitable at some stage ...... the contigency plan from the 4Tops might be interesting though :shock:

I may not have been bussom buddies with you all - but I would like to formally say....
No matter what differences there have been I always understood the need for you guys to be here. I appreciate the time you have given - not all of which is seen by the regular member. But I have to admit it was your hard work that made this site what is was - though not what it now is. For that I respect you.
Thank you for your part in making the site one which I had gained so much pleasure from - even if it was just to debate and take the piss.
I am sure I will see you around somewhere or another wink

I am not sure what to make of recent comments, Personaly I joined this site as a possible way to meet people. I was rather impressed by the community and in fact the original motive of joining has became of little importance . I am a single person among millions like me. To date I have had no e mails ! I know that were i to pose as a female, I would get tons of email ! Ufortunately there is only so much one could say on any given topic and while I still feel that there is some milage left on this site for me personaly. a change of management seems a poor excuse to quit. SH is no matter what we may have experienced through our postings all about SEX ! sex sells and from a commercial point of view this is why it is.

well i love this site and although it as changed a great deal and as now got alot more arseholes on here the old feel of the place is still here if you look hard enough.
the forums are now getting back to normal with some good threads that are not all people winging, bitching and taking a flounce!
im glad to hear your not all leaving sh for good just dropping your mod jobs as you are all an important part of sh and your witty caracters are a big part of this community

I really want to post something deep and meaningfull, but I really dont know what to say. I know I shouldnt be suprised, but that doesnt stop me from being very sad. :cry:
As others have said, Im please you are all intending to hang around but it just wont be the same without you Modding.

As a newcomer I don't know any of you but I do appriciate the need for mods and I will be sorry to see you go. But I do hope you stay around as contributers so as I get the chance to
share views with you from time to time. Thanks for keeping us all on the straight and narrow and I pray it doesn't turn into the wild west on here now you have hung up your hats :cry:
