Ok, I don't want to end up ranting but Blue and I are mightily annoyed....
We were meant to have a meet yesterday so we got tarted up, made sure the whole afternoon and evening was free and.....the guy sent a text at 1650h to say his mum was with him and he was trying to get rid of her. We were meant to be meeting him at 1800h so we thought "ok fair enough". We then didn't hear from him again.
We were wondering if there was any chance if a rating system could be devised ( like there are on some other swinging sites). So for example you could see if people are genuine cos people could say "We met with Joe Bloggs 69 and we had a great time, really genuine guy etc". We mean something like a star system, obviously no nasty comments but at least people could have the opportunity to say "Miss X never showed". This might be a deterrent to the lame arse timewasters.
There must be loads of peeps on SH who have other commitments like children, who can only get a babysitter every now and then....if they get a no show it must be so frustrating. This has been our first experience of a timewaster but we spoke about it in the chatroom last night and some people have had it happen 9 times or more. We think there must be some people out there who get off on the whole arranging the meet and then furiously masturbate over the fact that the couple/guy/girl is getting ready.

Can of worms ... the whole "verification" subject has been done time and time again. My advice, unless someone else posts the link, is to search on "verification" look for the longest thread and read some very good for and against arguments.
Oh and unfortunately accept that in this game timewasters happen!

Personally, I'm against all the suggestions I've heard so far in my time here. I think the idea has some merit, but unfortunately, the whole thing is too much open to abuse, and I can't think of a way around that. If I could; I'd put it forward.
I doubt we'll be allowed to even discuss it further in the open forum as it's "one of those subjects" to which there doesn't seem to be a workable solution.

I think a system could work - it does on ebay!
It can work both ways - building up positive feedback being your aim (well apart from meeting up and having a fab time lol ) Revenge posts are limited by a system of making comments next to them again like on ebay.
I guess this is complicated by needed software to limiit how many posts someone can make.....ok rambling now and seeing the difficulties lol

But does it really work......i'm seen some of the comments left in the feedback system on ebay and some of the remarks are petty and nasty......but who do you believe the sender or the receiver?
