although Fiona has wrote on some on the threads i thought it was about time i said something,
we have been around for a while and usually keep oursleves to ourselves, not been to any munches as all seem so far away, so before people think we are fakes i just want to say we are real.
obviously we have an add but is it just us or do all you guys get lots of timewaster? either they just see fionas pics and think they will give it ago without reading or not taking any notice. we have had people just inviting themselves onto our web cam and numerous pic collectors and of course the blokes who pretend they are a couple or a single fem - what is the point we often ask, we have become so careful to the point where i think some peolpe take offence when we say untill we see some proof we dont believe who you are or say you are.
fiona thought she had actually found a nice single fem the other day, arranged a meet, talked on the phone etc but this so called fem went funny, next day discovered he/she had numerous adds as fem, male and couple all with differnt pics! think we will have to go to a club and see what happens as least you can see what you might be getting!

I went through a few weeks earlier in the year where I seemed to have a reasonable number of gay men answering my ad, for no apparent reason. (The ad was in "women seeking men" and made it clear I was straight.) Then, for no other apparent reason, they stopped.
Strange.
Sorry to hear you've been having trouble with morons. All I can think to suggest is that you save the absolute worst emails for future humour-value, and ignore the rest.

Its a sad fact, but, adverts do attract all the wrong sorts of people. Our ad explicitly states that we aren't looking for single guys etc... but we get loads daily, we delete them without even reading them and still we get the same responses.... why don't you write back, even to say no thanks etc.....
Obviously, in our Ad, Susie's pics are very prominent, so we too get the 'cor, she's alright' brigade of single guys just trying it on....
We do our best to be polite, so that's why we said we'd delete any ads from single guys....
I have to say though, on the other hand we've contacted some very nice people, who may live a bit too far away from us, but they are nice all the same, so, it can work.

Must admit twice I have succumbed to the 'wow' factor in pics and emailed. (And both you PaulnSue defiantly have wow factor) Both times however I said up front that I knew I wasn't what they were looking for, this was purely a passing compliment from a fellow user, and hope thy had fun / found who they looking for...
I never pretended to be something I am not, or lead anyone up the garden path so to speak and I cant see why anyone does. I know they do, but I just can't understand them

You will always get the time wasters and idiots in places like this.

And the mods here are great - if you get anyone giving you serious hassle - get on to Mark, Blue, Miss Chief, etc and they will soon be gone.
All I can say is there are so many great people here and so many great conversations going on, genuine people worth taking the time to get to know and meet, and all the parties and munches on offer, that it is more than worth it.

When we get PM's like these, we are always curteous and do reply back, I know Susie has done several replies to Single guys that state they know they're not what we're looking for but......
It is very nice to get compliments and i'm not saying that every single guy is like that, but sadly, the majority we have come accross are, there is a lot of those that do 'try it on' etc...
One day, we may change our minds with regard to single guys, and those that have been gracious and kind in the past will always be top of our list, not the idiots who stop at nothing to get something they can only dream about......

This is a good point - I mean if I had a PM waiting for me from Tall N Hairy I'd know who he was - I have gotten to know Love Commando after a forum conversation went personal and we did a PM, and we do pvts when we meet in the chatroom.
And everyone likes compliments.

If we get emails from forum users that we know... we do reply, because there has obviously been some interaction in the forum or chatroom or whatever... also, now we've met a few more guys since attending SS's party, we've had a few PM's etc... that's completely different to the PM's or emails that we're referring to....
