Well unless you are a candidate for the Guinness book of Records, one should only grow as much hair as is necessary, and if that is still too much, then trimmming and shaving is obligatory, for the sake of mankind.
However one should not forget that some growth may be necessary to determine whether or not you have partnered up with someone who has natural hair colour to your taste.
As far as oral sex goes, if you can't get through the undergrowth by tongue, then assistance is needed.
if it helps my girlfriend trimmed me last night and herself but as you state she looks better fully trimmed /shaved and i prefer trimmed ( looks a bit odd to lop it all off ).

I agree that "done to death" is an impossible concept on a growing forum. New people have different answers, opinions change and, above all, it keeps the "social" side contemporary, kind of important on this type of site ;)
As to the hair, I like variety. While I lean for preferring zero on women, everything 100% natural can also be very sexy.
I usually stay "neat", but occasionally get rid of everything for a while - it does feel lovely.

I shave my shaft and the area around the base of my penis, and I trim the rest. I am quite hairy so I think that a totally bald approach would look a little odd.
For ladies I prefer lightly trimmed - but it is their choice.
