Just wondering why we are not allowed to post email addresses in our messages? Having just done it myself and then been mocked by a moderator, I am curious as to what the big problem is? Also, I think the basic rules should be a bit more clearer and in an easier to see place, not everyone has the time or will to religously read through a big list of no-no's. Not that I am having a go, I just thought this was a fairly relaxed place.

Basic rules are very clear, but we don't read them out to you at the door, we expect you to do that yourself. After all, you are an adult and responsible for your own actions. The rule is there for a reason - how do we know that it's your email and not someone you have set up to be spammed? Same goes for telephone numbers.
