LOL i still enjoy doing non girlie things now whoops
a few years ago i had to climb the gates around Broadlands as a girlfriend ended up getting shut in
and can't wait to be able to go on a rope swing at a venture park lol when the weather improves
Think acting as a big kid keeps you young
I was the ultimate tomboy
Did the rugby, shooting, fishing, skydiving, diving, welding, (years before irene Cara in Flashdance) didnt shag my first bloke till 4.5 yrs ago, didnt have a period till I was 17, several yrs after i first drove a JCB, got my HGV at 21, always wore tight tops, jeans and boots. Sensible m&s boring cotton knix. Ive still got size 10 waist, pert ass and perky tits
Now im an engineer, i can beat quite a few guys at work armwrestling, prefer pints to halfs, hate shopping and sadly i want a lot more sex than im getting, so I try not to want it but the urge is there and driving me mad
I do have occasional attempts at being totally girly and patheticaly useless but good old practical me shows through.
I have an ex gf who is such a bloke i thought she was a trannie the first time i met her, yet shes so sexually sensual, im still smitten with her and she drives men and women wild.
We are all individuals, so never judge a book by the graffiti on the cover
This is me too!! complete tom boy. Always preferred the lads and a game of football or fishing with my Dad. Me and my sis always got mistaken for a couple of boys when we were out. Short hair, jeans and jumpers. Our toys were cars and guns rather than Barbie and fairy outfits.
Is'nt it strange how so many of us were (and still are redface ) this way.

I see a pattern forming!
I was a tomboy... still am in some ways. Most of my mates were boys and a lot of them still are. I lived in jeans and trainers right through my childhood/teenage years and I'm still comfiest hanging out in casual clothes than girlie ones.
I've worn make-up and girlie shoes but I only own one dress (purchased in October) but it's never been worn. I've always done something with my hair and generally go out looking presentable but I think I have quite a lot of blokie traits. The best compliment I ever got was that I drive like a bloke. I can live with that, in fact I'm quite proud of it! (I have to say I'm a bit intolerant of women drivers... sorry girls).
And my index fingers are shorter than the wedding ones!

This is the same with me folks- I was a complete tom boy when I was younger!
I used to love running about playing football, climbing trees, flying about on my bike when I was wee, and now I'm always doing the DIY, fixing any machines in the house which may (or may not!) be broken. I love adventure sports, and sometimes i do feel a bit like a bloke....If I wasn't a physio I'd love to be a car mechanic or a surgeon, cos I love fixing things.
However, like most have said, I'm also a very girly girl, i like doing 'wifey' things, i love pink, I used to be a ballerina, i always wear skirts and I'm sure my head is full of sparkly glittery things, kittens, and blow jobs!
And I suppose burlesque is a pretty feminine thing to do!

In the book, 'why men don't listen and women can't read maps', they talk about how masculinity/femininity/ gay/straightness depends on how much testosterone/oestrogen you get when you're in the womb.... very interesting theory and I would definately say that most of the bi girls I know have some 'masculine' traits.....
hmmmmmm.......

You see thats the problem- women can read maps, it's just that the blokes are not listening!

I'm very good with a map! cool
I was a typical tomboy when younger.... played footie with the lads, very sporty, loved hanging around with the lads playing rough, building tree houses etc. Always wore trews and always mucky
I was totally unaware that I actually had a figure under all my unbecoming clothes until at 16 yrs old we had our first none uniform day at school (those uniforms was awful). The sports teacher said she didnt recognise me at first, she always thought I was a big muscley gal confused because of the clothes I wore and how I played sport.
In another forum I belong to, some of the members thought I was male for a long time (even tho I had a pic up rolleyes ) because I talk like a man in the chat rooms/forum :? :?
Ive never been much of a girl, hate pink and fem colours on me (love it on others) and cant for the life of me wear high heels (Ive seen fellas do that much better than I). I dont feel that I look (have a strong jaw bone)or act very feminine at times as Im not very graceful...in fact so dam clumsy its unbelievable.
Maybe this is why I keep getting chatted up....by women!!

i was a tomboy when i was young and i hated pink, (still hate it even though my daughter is a "barbie girlie  )i was both a dancer and an army cadet as a kid and i am still quite tomboy-ish now, i love quad biking on weekends with mr 04 and getting plastered in mud ( the more the better biggrin ) but i do like to wear skirts, make up etc when the time is right. i just dont understand girlie girls who cry over a broken nail etc
Definately a pattern forming! lol
I was most dfinately a tom boy growing up - must ahve been one of the few girls to watch top gun and not care about Tom Cruise - I was fixated on the planes and motorbike! I was also the girliest tomboy ever tho, as my parents never let me wear trousers but still climbed on and out of trees (I didn't own a pair of jeasn till I was in my teens)and got into fights with boys twice my size (things really haven't changed all that much!). I was their little princess - dresses, curls and ladylike manners (Oh how times have changed! :lolsmile
I went onto to cut off all my hair, live in jeans and leather and to being as un-girly as I possibly could in my late teens and early twenties.
Now I like to wear glamourous clothes and full make up, I love costumes and dressing up, lingerie and heels, but underneath there still lurks that tomboy. For all my protestations of dizzyness I am an extremely capable woman, I still love wearing jeans and boots and I love sports like football and Ice hockey.
