Hi and good evening, it was just great to come home this evening and read all those nice replies to my initial posting, what a great bunch you are. Now that I am not so much of the new boy, how would I go about getting an invite to social events/ munches etc?

You need to be patient, take you time and read the threads and start to get an idea what people are about. Join in the conversations if you feel comfortable and you will soon slot in. Just enjoy the place.
