How can I say this politely.......... confused :? :?
I can't.........
WTF dunno
Obviously not football fans rolleyes
Bloody football - whos playing?? Apart from england, obviously
mad <<<Rant alert>>> :x
I was most upset when Wayne Rooney sold out to Manchester United.
During 's achievements in Euro 2004 he said he had always dreamed of playing for the team he had follwed since he was a kid. This club was Everton. He played for them in many matches and pledged his allegence to the club because it was one he loved.
Then the big bad wolf (Man utd) waved a fat cheque under his nose and lured him off to the woods to play for one of the most conceited and arrogant teams in the world. I lost all my respect for him as a player with morals, which, up until then he seemed to be.
He left Everton because they were not one of the key teams in the premiership. How will they ever get there if the talent which they find and nurture keep leaving to accept a subs bench of an international football giant and a large paypacket?
Of course this is only my opinon and don't expect anyone to agree with me at all because by statistic, I'm in a minority not liking Manchester United and it's world domination drive.
<<< end rant>>>
smile I feel much better now. Thanks mancbabe. Enjoy the match. :)
FFS
Footie, errrrr mad
Well apparently he who will forever remain Blue until someone waves a chequebook at him has just scored
Well the boys done good scored on his first outing in that FAMOUS RED SHIRT biggrin
Shame, I always get a nice warm glow when Man Utd loose.
Hiya Mancbabe
It is famously said :-
'' Everybody has two teams, their own and whoever Man Utd are playing !! '':giggle:
So sad, but painfully true, sorry dunno
Regards Dan x x x wink
surprised Dan.....im proud to be from manchester nad support united....i am wat they say.....very rare :P
Very rare.
I live in manchester and feel the need to speak out. Old trafford doesn't even come into the city of manchester (trafford boundary and has different rules and LocalAuthority) and therefore there is only one true Manchester team.
I don't like the fact that no matter where I go in the world someone will ask me where are you from? I will reply Manchester in England and they will say ahhhh yessss, manchester united.
Like there is nothing else in this city to talk about.

Please do not get me wrong, I was merely pointing out a rather well known phrase.
Apologies worship
I do realise that the largest following for Man Utd is to be found overseas, I think ?? blink
I am sure that you will be able to correct me if I am mistaken. rolleyes

I say well done to him - A rival nursery to the one i work for has offered me a position of higher importance and more money - I'd be a fool not to take the offer. i adore the kids at the nursery i work at - but i've got bills to pay!!! I know its not quite the same scale as world class football, but the pricipal's the same!!!!
fem_man-cpl.......you mean there are other places to see apart from the holy land rolleyes
Each to their own.
I think lou that if you had agreed to stay with one nursary knowing that next year the offer would still be there, and possibly the pay packet you could command would be larger, you may think twice about going back on that verbal agreement.
It doesn't matter to compare footballers to real life bcause they earn more than I will in one year in one week. Is that sport or a form of entertainment? They don't train like other sports people or athletes have to yet get more pay than a lot of people in the world.
It seems wrong that so many are without when one individual gets paid such gross amounts of money for a minimal amount of time.
Stop, stop, wait a second !!
Hang on a minute there ladies, now let's not start, please. duel
Even though I do often enjoy the cut and thrust of a good scrap !!
