Perhaps you should re-read the thread. The original poster set the agenda and introduced both the anti-Catholic and political issues discussed. That Will gave a positive example of where groups with diametrically opposed views were at least trying to work together for a better society certainly should not be ignored. It gives some balance to the bigoted, unintelligent drivel spouted by others.
Religion depends on faith, not reason. Nothing can be proven, at least in this world. I am much more concerned about Blair's hypocrisy, mendacity and self-seeking than I am about any religious beliefs he has or professes to have at any given time. I'm quite sure he would convert to Satanism should he feel it held some personal advantage.
