So many of the adds on here just have autoresonders advertising PAY sites sad
For example here is the last 3 out of so many I have recieved..
Edited to remove email addresses of dodgy sites
It goes on and on - oh and I always only send a fully dressed full body/face pic..
Well if you report the offending ads to the moderators (there is a button on each ad) they will delete it & probably ban the poster.

Just like the man said "click the button and report it!"
Yes GTG, it does go on and on, but each of those ads has a 'report this ad' button. you also haven't given any clues to the ad number or the original email address. How do you expect us to sort it? Crystal balls are currently well out of stock, so a little help wouldn't go amiss, instead of whinging.
Now, if you don't mind, could you let me or any of the Mods know some more details please?
Thanks
Mal
What all they said, but I have edited your post to remove dodgy addresses. You're actually adding to the problem cos you're giving these poeple extra advertising! How clever of you!
We are as sick of fake ads as everyone else, but posting such replies on here don't help. Please report these ads properly and we will deal with them accordingly

Why don't you suggest that a button is put on each ad, so that it can be reported directly to the moderators?
That would be so cool ........... cool

Perhaps he didn't scroll down that far to see the button?
they actually are clever...they put ad up for a few days.....then you get reply to your .saying come and see me on this site etc etc.....when you go back to find advert so as to report it....they have already deleted it themselves. They then just put another up. I find at least 50% of the replies i get are actually re-directing me to another adult pay site !! Can't report them as advert gone......and to be honest i can't see how SH can actually get round it !!!
I agree with Dean; actually in my case 90% of replies I'm getting are redirected to pay sites mad - how can we report the ad if it has already disappeared, because they only reply once their ad has been removed?
I feel I have come to 'suss' the fakes, but clearly not quite got there yet: it is impossible to know which ones are fake and which are genuine; I have just checked the reply I got inviting me to join another site to make further contact and it's already gone from SH.
Do I still send the email I got from this person and would it be of much help now anyway?
Do let us know!
This is becoming tiresome though, but interestingly several of those who send me an email state they are fed up with getting timewasters on SH and want to find genuine guys; and presumably they think those who pay are more likely to be genuine. I'm not sure how true that is, or if that's just a ploy to get us to sign up!
I have never joined any other site from any of these ads, and I have reported ads in the past that asked me for payment, but these ones are evasive...and annoying...
They obviously are not getting much luck within these paysites if they need to come on SH to advertise themselves (and where they are absolutely guaranteed to get overloaded with replies...hey it's free!). I was emailing my one experience and she has given up on putting in a free ad because of being so overwhelmed and now just checks out the men seeking women ads section and finds what she wants there.
I'm sure the free ads are working for a lot of people, but in my experience they have been largely unproductive, except for one experience ;-)
This is not a complaint; I am not a hardcore swinger or free ads or desperado... I mainly send an ad and send replies with an open mind and in hope rather than desperation. I think that's the best way to look at the free ads really, rather than take it too seriously. The forum, to me, is the soul of this site and where the real thing is at.
The redirecting to pay sites does piss me off though, but I guess if you're an open and free site that's to be expected (and btw this is not an argument for making it unfree)
Good luck to you all.

Spam the spammers:
When you get a redirect, make a note of the email address it came from, then every time you get asked for your email address for no good reason, use that addy. It won't stop them, but it will annoy the shit out of them. smile
Sadly, like in life there are bogus people just trying to screw you anyway they can,and not always in the bedroom lol.
As the others say,if you see a bogus advert report it,but personally since I have been using this site I have met many who like myself are totally genuine.
Yes, we are aware that they often remove their ad before people can report it evil . There is something you can do... if the ad was on the system their email address must have been verified - therefore we have a note of it. If you send us the email addresses we can ban them. OK, they'll just re-register and do it all again, but at least it's something confused . We can't do anything about those that don't place ads, some scammers just harvest addresses from people who haven't made their address anonymous - all we can suggest with that is that you make your address anon so only the SH server know who you are.... wink
