My ex girlfriend had it done. She said it didnt hurt that much and your tounge is the fastest part of your body to heal if injured.
Effect on oral from me was it felt great. We had a selection of different clasps for the pearcing and used different shapes sizes ect to keep things spiced up

It didn't hurt much when I got it done, the piercer numbed my tongue but it swells up a lot and I got scared when I couldnt lay down without it blocking my throat so I panicked and took it out the first night 
It is weird to get used to but a lot of people get it done without any problems, I think it was just me panicking :roll:
Subsequently I don't know about the oral sex thing cos I never got that far :roll:

I've had mine done and had a plastic bar put into it right away. I had no swelling, brusing or any probs at all and could eat normally within less 24 hours 
My brother has a tattoo and piercing studio and always recommends plastic or PTFE bars to begin with as they are much lighter to wear than steel ones and don't cause friction.
I had the tongue numbed first and although it did bleed for a while, it was not overly tender apart from where the small clamp had been.
Once you've got used to having something on your tongue, you can always progress to steel bars if you prefer. I stick with plastic ones though and just change the top ball to suit my mood.
There are loads of fun styles around and it's a great little piece of jewellery as well as an extra element during oral :P
I'd say go for it. It certainly makes oral a lot better if the comments I've had are anything to go by

Ebay is the cheapest place around for tongue bars. There are loads of jewellery shops selling them and I've bought masses and had no probs at all.
Tattoo studios and associated shops sell tongue bars from anything between £5 and £30 each when you can get the same thing from Ebay for usually around a couple of quid plus postage.
Vibrating ones for example are around in shops, but I got mine for just under plus 65p postage so quite a substantial saving.
They are all very good quality and of course you need to steralise them before use as with any body jewellery.
I also but loads of belly bars for my hood piercing with average price of around £1 - £3, so do check the prices on there before buying from shops.
Many items of body jewellery are available on *buy it now* so you don't even have to bid on auctions if you really can't wait

i have got both my tongue and clit hood pierced. when i had my tongue done they sprayed it to numb with some thing that tastes horrible then pierced it, the only thing i felt was a bit of pushing and pulling , no pain at all. but when it is done you have to sit a little while in the room because you slaver like a bulldog lol. it only swelled a little and i was eating normal the same day. it was just a little tender for a few day to keep it from swelling i hate a lot of ice lollies. it had a plastic bar in first that is long so it has room to swell if it is going to. i was supose to go back and have the bar changed two weeks later but i changed it myself after 5 days. and chris loves it during oral esp when i shove the ball down the japs eye
as for thr clit that was even easier. the only bit that hurt was the spray it stings a little. but that healed in two days and my god i have never looked back since, oral is fantastic you have to scrapped me off the ceiling now days.

Its over in a flash and then yes your tongue does swell a bit, after a day or two you put the small bar in and away you go. You have to reprogramme your tongue when eating so you don't crunch down on the bar which fecking well does hurt your teeth!!
Avoid spaghetti when its first done it gets wrapped around the bar and you look like a twat trying to get it down your throat with a half swollen tongue!!
DON'T eat acidic foods, fuit etc as that gets in the wound (and yes it is a wound) and if you do you will look like a cat hanging upside down from the ceiling !!! Salt is bad too, girls no cum in yer mouth ok!!

i had my tongue pierced about 7 years ago and then it really did hurt,no sprays to numb it just a hyperdermic needle a piece of plastic tube. they pushed the needle out with the tube and then the tube with the bar. it also swelled like hell and i couldnt talk correctly for about 3/4 days and struggled the ladies love it and my girlfriend really enjoys it being flicked over her bean. if it goes sore i used listerine original at any given oppotunity and that helped. also the hole takes ages to heel if the bar is taken out once well established. p.s becareful with eating rolos and garden peas they cause chaos.

i cant help ya on that one not got a penis lolololol but chris has had his balls pierced and it was pretty much the same as my clit piercing only it took a little longer to heal because he caught it on his jeans a few times lol
