I am also 30 and i prefer women over the age of 40. I find that the experience they have makes them more open minded and less embarrased about their bodies so they put more effort into enjoying themselves and knowing what they want. The problem is that there seems to be only a small percentage of women who like younger men (unless im looking in the wrong place!!)

Do older people get turned on by younger people? Does Little Red Riding wear a hood? Does the Pope wear a funny hat? Is wrestling fixed?
Well, I say that, but I know some of more mature years who aren't so keen on young 'uns, although they're certainly harder to find amongst older blokes than older women.
As for being a toyboy, it's a grand old life. I went out for 3 years with a women 13 years older when I was in my 20s and she changed my life completely - I actually grew up, learnt stacks, and got some terrific sex into the bargain. I'm not sure she did so well out of the deal, mind, given what a miserable wanker I was at the time...
