Travel Lodge/Inn etiquette

Hello board,
I wonder if someone can enlighten me?
I have recently become aware that some people who meet up for sex at travel lodge type places, (Yes i do believe it goes on wink

) leave there door slightly ajar, with say a sock in it or something, as an invitation for other people to come and join in. Much like the use of headlights in the dogging fraternity i suppose.
Has anyone else any experience of this, I have to say i spend one or two nights in a month in these places and have never noticed any open doors, although to be fair i havent exactly looked!
Would love to know if what i heard is true, if so i will keep my eyes peeled :P

Well having stayed in a Travel Lodge recently in London, I can't say I noticed this....although there were some weird looking characters around.....especially early in the morning lol
