Just switched TV on and Trisha has a swinging couple as guests. Is it just me, or is the lady of the couple the same lady that appeared in the French Connection documentary couple of months or so ago? She now sports bleached hair but give her brown hair and she is the one from the couple that got to swing with the newcomers.
Oh now they reveal they have done movies as well!

Hi, she definitely looks very similar to the lady in France but can't be sure. Agree with seagull that programs with swingers on always look bad. It's like they are up there just to be shot down. There were some very uptight people in the audience who were not really listening. (Mind you, the guy didn't need to reveal that he had his hand up a woman's skirt on his wedding day! That was always going to backfire).
Hopefully, one day a well balanced program will come along.
PS: I don't normally watch Trisha, I...err....just turned over and it was already on!

nither of us got to see this trisha show in perticular but we have had dealings with them .They were touting for pple to come onto the show and" represent swingers" ( some 6 months ago ) they offered £300 to each person who would be on tv and expences. Now without going into detail it would ruin phoenix career if it ever got publicised what she did in her own time now call me synical but without even seing this program i beleve u were all right. draughed in an actor cos noene will come on to "defend" swingers and why should we how much revenu dose the program make and why should we line there pockets "at our expence" now nither of us are ashamed or anything about us swinging but we did talk to trish herself and were tempted but it came back to the job and family thing again she talked in gr8 length about what it was like ext and i may be wrong semed interested herself so if u see her at a party ithe be carefull or use a condom lol xxxxxx

Yeah, we were the same people who were on Real Wife Swaps... We were asked to go on Trisha to try and present a balanced view on swinging.... Not sure on everyones take on it, but we found that it werent as bad as it could have been

I have the opinion that let them do their worst. it hopefully puts off the wanabees and idiots (especially where dogging is concerned)leaving the real experience to those who truly seek it
It is, I feel, Akin to the people who 'visit' the lake district and take a cruise on Windermere and look at the shops etc... leaving the remaining unspoilt corners for the people who want to experience true beauty and occassional wilderness.
Anybody who appears in public to 'promote' or 'explain' swinging is in my view liable to be doing swinging a disservice. This is partly due to the media's penchant for exploiting easy targets but also due to the intrinsic nature of swinging, which is something that should come from within and not be suggested from outside. You know in your heart if it is right for you or not - so why do you need someone on the telly to tell you??
I think Orpheous1 is spot on.
You have to admire them but due to the current climate, people like Donna and Rich will continue to suffer until it is fully accepted.
I'm confident that in a few years, people will look back and be amazed at the audience reaction.

An actress friend of mine has been on Trisha loads of times, in various guises. It was very well paid work. I'm not sure what i think of this morally, but it does prove what we already know, the show is pure sh*te!
Yeah but she was proved to be a liar when they did a DNA test and she admitted she wasnt an actress but a bus conductress.
