I like Shameless and will have a look at Red Riding.
I don't like anything else enough to make sure I see it.
Dexter, such a shame about Lila, and
Hussel, NCIS, for the technical bits you understand.
For light relief have I got News for you.
Ohh, for me it has to be the new season of '24' and.... star trek

I don't really watch a lot of telly but i have been watching x files on my computer recently.
Heroes is class, allthough i haven't been watching the new series.
I have however been watching the new series of shameless, love it.
Ross Kemp in Afghanistan was also very good. Go on Ross!
Haven't watched the television, aside from 6 nations rugby, for about 5 years.
I got sick of the non-stop "reality" programmes, the "I used to be a celebrity and would like to revive my flagging career" junk, and the "you may never have heard of me, but my publicist is great" trash. Then the constant dumbing down of everything. And the resurrection of all the cobblers we used to have to sit through in the '70s.
Just not worth it. If there's a decent series that comes along, like Life on Mars, then I get em on DVD. That's it.

Not watched Mistresses... And I'm gutted that I haven't managed to get into Mad Men yet. Just no time to watch it.

Mad Men is my 100% fav! have watched all the episodes from the internet and I am waiting with baited breath for the new series. Apparently there will be 10 series in total so got a good bt of watching to go biggrin
Oh and the other one I like is "Out Numbered" but only managed to catch a few of them.
Soaps. Absolutly hate them. Gladly load up an F4E and napalm the sets, the lot of them.
Reality TV. What is that all about. It bears no resemblance to my reality. The little voice in my head says so, so it must be true.
Love House, QI, Scrubs. Love to let it wash over me at the end of the day. Grand Designs, and Location,Location because I love to watch Kirsty Alsop have a strop. She's worth watching for that.
love:
QI
top gun
across the world in 80 faiths
bbc documentaries
24
scrubs
family guy
mock the week
that alzheimer thing done by pratchett (simply because I adore and revere the man)
two pints
reluctantly admit to watching shameless...weirdly enough I don't particularily like it, but if I chance upon it I'm hooked
grownups
hates:
soaps
endlessly repeated movies...in the 13 months I've been exposed to english freeview I must have seen (and after a few times switched off the telly) the same 20 movies about a dozen times each. seriously guys..there are scores of wonderfull movies, and new ones come out every year..why repeat the same movies over and over again?
and where are the disney classics?? mad :x I WANT the disney classics, and tom& jerry!!!
ok, rant over.

Because the studios like to sell blocks of showings which makes them more money and the channels like it cos they pay less per viewing for each film then market it as giving you the chance to watch something you missed last week!

Disney rarley let their films out for broadcast as they make much more money from DVD sales, especially if they play the 'available for a limited time only' game rolleyes
Disney is the animated wing of the Nazi party anyway wink
erm its more a channel uktvfood redface
oh yes, House, excellant tele... another sociopath I relate to

I knew that...I just don't like it. you'd expect that with all the adds they show, they could as well buy a few more titles. old ones aren't that expensive and still good.

in Italy they're shown quite regularily (not all of them, but a fair number)...and classic cartoons are all over the telly, private broadcasters and national alike (which nowadays is a very narrow distinction, as the 3 mayor private channels belong to our "beloved" prime minister)
uh..just remembered another pet hate...reality shows
the sopranos.
There's an old Italian saying: you fuck up once, you lose two teeth. lol
hate any reality programme and the the license.
There are presumably a lot of 'reality tv' fans out there, but not me I'm afraid and feel that I'm being done a disservice in paying my licence fee for such drivel. But I keep paying it and watching reruns of Friends, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, QI and House. I, for one, will be glad when this fad blows over, although what it will be replaced by is anyone's guess confused
