I can understand you feel irritated, perhaps upset and bit annoyed at these shots. I've asked for messages sans cock shots and get them all the time...
C'est la vie. They don't offend me, but if they do offend you then ignore whoever sends them or pm in the chat room and when comfortable correspond by msn or whatever - so there are no shots winging their way.
No does mean no, but this is a forum of relatively free expression and sexual solicitation, sending photos is part of the communication.
I think you're mixing up feeling annoyed with feeling violated. If you feel violated then you may need to reconsider your mediums of communication.
I hope I don't sound patronising, I just think that there are rather large differences.

i was trying to think of some way of answering this..... and this is the only thing i could come up with as a comparison at the mo, because i am tired smile

when winks come in... a lot of people get loads...they give people the option of blocking them. some people decided to take that option... some didn't... we all had that choice
you have the same option when it comes to getting mail from single guys,..... you can choose the block it, or not....... if it detests you so much then take the option of blocking it.......
but the use of " " and other emotive words to justify your position is going to get people saying "too far"..... and i think that is what is had done for me..... it was a comparison too extreme for me personally.........

I think Gemini, the "single" guys like Sean here who have bothered to put a reply in to your post are the guys you've prob. offended. I hadn't realised you'd used the word " " in your thread I had read it wrong in the first place. However, I understand you were upset by being inundated by unwanted attention and I feel it for you but when you get the nice single males on the site like this guy and many others you have prob. hurt their feelings.
Not all singles are pests, most are actually very respectful of women and these are the ones who you would not be receiving winks from. Maybe the ones who contacted you were chancers, I can't speak for them they haven't put a reply onto your post but really I think you should be looking at the picture as a whole and take the good advice that has been offered to you.
Don't take this experience as a bad thing, look positively and keep posting, most of your threads are great.

speaking as a single male, i would under certain cicumstances reply to an ad that said no single males, BUT, and i must stress this, it would not be in the context of ' i know you dont really mean this, i can change your mind', it would be something like i thought their photos were exceptional or something in their profile was amusing/relevant. whilst i agree that there are males out there who's evolution has stopped short of their brains ascending from their trousers, please dont class us all the same way, some of us old'uns have been brought up with respect & politeness. hopefully this missive will be read in the way it is intended & i've not upset anyone, cos thats not my intention, meanwhile just ignore the silly buggers that cant think.-------------graham

I only put my ad up yesterday and I've got over 70 replies. My ad is very, very specific to the point of being - as my mate told me - clinical and almost as if I'm not even interested. Another friend told me it was ok but he wouldn't reply to it.
It is very specific because I have very specific requirements and i want to avoid as many numpties and time wasters as possible.
However, out of the 70-odd replies, I still got countless dozens of one liners, cock pic and nothing else, text speak and the famous "copy n paste" responses - all of which i specifically asked NOT to be sent.
I've come to the conclusion that men are illiterate and useful only as a source of amusement and a reminder of how wonderful it is to be female cool

and i shall use them for my own ends.
All I do is this rolleyes

and click delete. End of.
Only today, though, I got a lovely message from some cheeky young chappy informing me that I was wasting his time by not having a pic on there. Of course, his rant was just one long misspelt, poorly punctuated sentence, he didn't fit the age preference as stated in my ad, and on further inspection, his ad didn't have a picture either. So I told him in no uncertain terms what he could do with his opinion.

Thats why i suggested a certain number, to get blocked by 20, 30, 40 etc individuals you've got to be doing something wrong and it's most likely one liners, not bothering to read ad's or profiles, unwanted cock shots. It's more of a wake up call for some and a way to get rid of the persistant idiots (yep, even the ones who paid to join, sorry admin )
