Is there a particular 'type' of username that puts you off or makes you think 'no way would I meet them' ?
Just had a look at the list of users online. There's one that stands out, for me anyway. I won't mention the actual name as that would be unfair - but I'd hesitate to talk to them. confused
What are your thoughts?
Yes there are several i've seen that are a bit close to the line. Obviously like you i wont name.
I wonder what people make of mine though sometimes so just to say it's what my brother-in-law called me when i was little.
I do like to look at who's logged in.
Some of the names make me laugh
Some make me go "eewww"
And other I just think "WTF? How did they come up with that?" dunno
I just cringe when I see some of them - wonder what kind of looks they would get at a munch or social?
I always assumed it was some kind of Topgun reference goose. There are loads of names that make me think hmmm, but hey who am I judge.
Mine's the colours of my current phone!! I like the ones that are a bit different. The ones that put me off are the ones that seem a bit "all i'm after is a quick shag please"

... and I fear I just can't take them as being serious (or even human sometimes) rolleyes
It does remind me of something I have noticed recently..............
I thought usernames with the word 'girl' or 'boy' in them were not permitted - at least they weren't when I last had a name change confused

same here hun. Any guy with a name like HornyStudBollocks or SpankMeLikeABadBoy would have me running...............away bolt
It does seem to me that it is "us guys" who are the most guilty of "crap" user names. Even I am disappointed by some as clearly you ladies would be.

( My TV hero in the 70's...! )
It does tend to be men who make the most faux pars(isnt it always) but females and couples are not without blame
The problem arises at a social in a vanilla pub -
how on earth do you shout 'Hey Hornylittleblode, was that a pint or a half?' across from the bar?
Mine is based on my surname and is something my colleagues call me. LOL

I would sooner shout out "hey, hornylittleblonde" than "hey, sticky_minge_flaps... did purple_helmet and dripping_throbber want diet coke or regular?" confused
do see some and think 'who the hell is going to find that in any way appealing'
some of them make me laugh too, current favourite username seen
Jerryswinger rotflmao classic!!!!
any names that involve cock sizes put me off, names like clit licker etc i find a bit off putting too and older guys with boy or lad in their name confused
Tight arse!!! No thats not my user name, its what Diane calls me when i wont buy her the pair of shoes she wanted! Bearing in mind shes had several allready this week!
I think our problem is as blokes we want to look all macho and masculine, we just don't realise that our idea of "masculine and macho" is cheap and cheesy. But hey each to there own. It must work for some of us.
I hope! lol

You shout "Oii HLB" wink
Most people use my real name at social events though, but I know what you mean.
We have a little giggle imagining someone turning up at an organised club meet and telling the staff "Yes I'm with the SH people. My name's ..." lol

I have noticed that the ones with names like "minesa9inchbiggun" or "superstud4u" are also the one's with zero profiles.
Odd That dunno

What's the relevance of a zero profile? :dunno:

What are your thoughts?

We dont tend to think too much about the name of a profile.. its more about the pictures, description and simularities in the fun sought. Then the chats or meet that follows seems to cloud the profile name as irrelevant!!!
Although you have just inspired me to ask why some profiles are so called!!!!
:lol2:
with you on this one fb hun some ppl think our name is bad but it the footie team i like lol
I could never have a serious conversation someone called Tune Essence!! FFS gotta be some sorta weirdo! What was I thinking about?? dunno But as they say shit sticks!! lol

Hmmm conversation yes, serious no wink
well at the munches i have organised you get the people with the "names" asking to come...
when you mention the thing about wearing badges, they say "can you call me this on mine
"
my reaction..... well if you were bold and stupid enough to choose the name in the first place, you can feel bold and stupid enough to wear the badge.
I'd love to know the thought process that goes into so of the more "explicit" names... just to know if any thought actually went into it.... just from a 1st impression standpoint if nothing else....
mind you pussy posse could raise a laugh (or more) at the bar redface
