Mine came to me because it had a nice ambiguity to it in the old msn chatroom days,it could be seen as rude :P or romantic kiss

depending on the room,I was pleased to get it as a "pure" e mail addy too,as in no hypons or numbers so i,ve kind of stuck with it! Have found though curiously that I used to get a lot of replies and pms in chat from single men,do you think "lip" and "tease" are trigger words for trolls or does it just sound like a female name? Anyway need to change it as couple now but not sure of name yet,how do you find a suitible avitar for a couple? and can i change my username without losing my"been a member a while credentials? confused

all answers welcome!

Okay, so mine may not be original, but it wasn't chosen for this site specifically, it's one I've used for years, easy to remember (helpful when you're getting on a bit!), and over the years I've been called Johnboy, Johnnyboy, so I thought I was being clever changing Johnnyboy to JohnEboy,as in E for E-mail, as we are communicating via this medium.
Well it sounded good when I thought of it the first time :doh:
I try not to judge people by their usernames, but it's difficult not to when they're called Dickhead and as soon as they open their mouths you know that they really are just that.

I've had plenty of pseudonyms on the net since its inception and travelling around the country meeting internet friends to be called by your handle I found to be disconcerting and a little weird.
so Steve it is and Steve it stays..the J at the end is the first initial of my last name as Steve itself was already taken...

well ours is pretty self explanatory, simple but describes us perfectly.
We are horny, we are welsh and we are a couple.
Perhaps we could have come up with something more witty and original but didnt see the need to do so.
I'm not sure the username gives an impression that someone may or may not be up their own arse but certainly reading some posts, particularly from newbies trying to run before they can walk on here so to speak gives a totally different impression of that person regardless of what clever username they picked.
First impressions are definitely important, but i think the only true way of finding out if someone is genuine and respectful is actually to talk to them without any pre conceptions.
