Hi Everyone
This is my first post and I am looking for opinions on Utopia Club near Telford.
Janie and I will be in the area, we live in Scotland (no clubs), and were going to visit this club for the first time on a Saturday at the end of June.
Can anyone tell us what to expect, what to wear, anything that we should know.

I have only been once and to be honest didn't rate the club that much, the bar area was very nice and so was the pool but to be honest thats all that i could say good about it, the play rooms was rubbish, they was either really small standing space only rooms in a caved area or rooms that looked like something out a nursing home with plastic covered single beds and hand basins on the wall :haha:
I found the people there very ignorant and noone out side their liitle group was welcome, we went with another couple and to be honest had a good night but only cause we went with friends i would not suggest any cplz going alone, we tryed a few times 2 chat to people only to be shunned.
May be we picked a bad night i don'w know
but it was enough to put me off ever going back

Ditto. All the rooms upstairs were locked by players from about 10 pm they don't have one that stays unlocked so if you don't get in early, you have to use cave like rooms downstairs and they were crap. Woudn't recommend it but each to their own.

We have been to utopia and have to is a really awful place. I understand that it has new owners but after reading that the pool shuts at We wouldn't bother going again as that was the only decent thing about the place.

I don't think that Utopia is a real "Swingers Club" anyway.
It has "working girls" employed by the club on all but couples-only nights, to keep the single guys "happy". So call it a "sex club" maybe, but I think it's mis-using the word "swingers" to use it in the description of this club.

yes utopia does have working girls there but u do not pay them the club does u just pay to get in, but many clubs have working girls there to keep the single guys happy, if u go to a club such as chameleons that does not have working girls there theres a good chance u may go away having had no fun so many guys like the clubs with the working girls as in such clubs if u want sex u will get it, The Private Club in Aston (birmingham) has working girls too tho personally i do not like such club for the simple fact that they get all the guys attention so normal women like me tend to get ignored lol

Well, although it does not seem to fit in to the swingers lifestyle, I suppose having working girls there does cover the single male punter and will keep the money coming in.
I would agree with partyman that I would prefer to think it was on a friendly basis and not just commercial.

I assume it was not a good experience for you then.
Just checking it out as it will be close to me when I move shortly.
i wouldn't say it was a bad experience as such, i just found the play rooms not very good and the people seemed to ignor u if u was not part of the in croud, now i am the kind of person who will chat to anyone, even more so when i have had a drink and i had a few women look down their noses at me and walk away cause i spoke to them, we went with another couple and all four of us went and sat in a seated area and a group who was obvious regulars there looked at us and moved away cause we was sat close to them
the pool is nice but to be honest i think thats all thats nice about the place, it has a caved area with really small rooms in that u can't possablily play in unless ur both 3 stone and don't want a 3sum lol theres not even beds in as such they just benches, upstairs looks like a nursing home with plastic covered single beds in and wash baisins on the wall :? over all we did not find the room good or the people friendly at all, tho we did have a good night as we went with friends tho i would not suggest anyone go alone not even a couple.

Intresting the choice that Utopia, Ceasars and Private club make then. Cater for the guys with no social skills or sex appeal by providing "paid-for assistance" (the girtls get paid from the money that comes out of the punters pockets one way or the other, whether it goes via the clubs till first or not)
OR
weed out the inept guys, thereby boosting the average quality of the male "blood stock" and make the place more attractive to couples looking for the extra guys to play with.
Utopia, Ceasars and Private have made their choices.
