Sorry to hear that mate.... I was made redundant a couple of months ago and I haven't had the fortune of finding anything yet so i'm a bit depressed. Luckily, have Susie to brighten up my mood.

Not a great thing to look forward to but, it's not confirmed yet and so hopefully by some miracle it might not happen.
Unfortunately it's the only (can't say best) advice I can give you at the moment
The best advice is to get Clare into bed later and shag the arse off her!!!!! That will take your mind off it for now ;)

Sorry to hear the news. We went through the same situation a couple of months ago (only 1 had to be made redundant. In the end it all stopped because I got a secondment for a maternity leave. Still was a bloody awfl situation.)
Hope it all works out- if it does happen do you still want to continue doing the same sort of job or maybe try something completely different ?

As much as i like my profession, I'd say to you to steer well clear of an IT career, unless thats what you 'really' want to do.
10 years ago... everyone and his wife wanted to work with pooters.... and now, just about everyone is, and the money, unless you're highly qualified is pretty poor.
Almost all jobs require certification of some sort... unless you've got the finances to put yourself through the training, it isn't really worth looking at.
Sorry to put a downer on your ideas of a computer related job, just letting you know the state of the industry at the moment.
Now, if you want to be a cameraman.... well, Susie and I need a helping hand... and Clare would be MOST welcome
