I've just found out what the phrase vanilla means,i thought it was an ice cream flavour,but apparantly not,its someone who doesnt swing....isnt deluded freak a better term lol

But... Vanilla doesn't only mean somebody who doesn't swing! It depends on who you are talking to - it's also a term used in the BDSM lifestyle referring to those who choose not to take part - they are Vanilla too! biggrin

choice of words could have been better lambchop wink

vanilla - a flavour (especially of ice-cream) and a name given to those who like their sexual exploits to be more traditional. It's not mean to be a derogatory term at all although it does sometimes come across that way.
People involved with the BDSM scene also use it to describe those who don't participate in those activities too... so that would make some swinging vanillas non-vanilla, make some swingers vanillas and also a section of the populus double vanilla. Confused? Me too but it makes sense in my head :lol:
