Since i was a kid ive had this problem with every so often saying things the wrong way round for instance par cark(car park!) was always popping out!!!!(not the funniest one but theres been that many i really cant remember the rest!!)
And still now i do it every so often with random stuff,is it just me???
Is it due to my insanity perhaps????
Or are there some other nutters out there that have this condition too????

:haha: :haha: :haha:
Just a nutter or suffering from expressive dyspahasia? Maybe it can be treated by being taken in a lift, if you get the drift?

Yeah as mentioned above it can sometimes be a sign of other problems such as brain leisions, tumours ar a mild stroke (speaking of which...........:rascal: )
In the above cases though they are usually other syptoms though.
Strange that you should call it verbal dyslexia as it has a possible link with dyslexia.

Not at all Clare. The symptoms are called Spoonerisms and like I said they can be indicators of other problems when taken in context with other symptoms.
They can also be because of mild dyslexia (as mentioned) tiredness, talking too fast etc etc.
There are a quite a few reasons for this. As long as you're not suffering from anything else (loss of speech, migraines, vision problems etc) then there's nothing to worry about.
As you say it started as a kid and I bet if you think about it they only usually manifest under stress or when you're tired. biggrin
