virus knocking around

Hi guys sorry if u have been infected by me, a virus came into me yesterday got through my anti virus and send email to all contacts in msn. Email has a 7k file size i was sent it by a friend on hear . if u see syamantec checking outgoing emails when ur not sending email ur most probably infected
I had to go to dowload the new norton antivirus trial software
Load the software
reboot in to safe mode ( pressing the f8 key when ur computer boots up)
run norton anti virus in safe mode
this will get rid of the virus
