On a plus side .. I have been talking to my lovely husband about maybe holding a small munch at our house some time in the future - can always make a good excuse to make more Jelly (this isnt an ad for a munch - just something that MAY happen .. tbh is just as likely not to .. lol)

I'm no expert, but I'm thinking individual portions wouldn't work, you'd get people trying to finish, or leaving a bowl in one sitting, whereas with large bowls are like a buffet desert, you can just keep coming back for a little bite, then when someone has nothing better to do she takes the bowl around the room from mouth to mouth, doesn't someone, Sarah? lol

I agree. Individual portions won't really work. If someone tried to eat even a smallish bowl of nuclear stength jelly in one sitting you'd probably be mopping up sick rather than having fun! :shock: The idea of sharing it from a larger dish means that people can take their spoon and eat it a bit at a time. Or you could use several smaller bowls and pass it round or get someone to spoon feed it to everyone :twisted:
At parties, I do one large dish that people can eat as they like, and several small bowls that they can take away and play with among several people.
You do get drunk quickly off it, so you do have to be careful that people don't eat too much too quickly :shock:

I am glad I didnt upset u too much Marmalaid kiss

I was just wondering if this recipe would work with anything other than Vodka .. such as Bacardi .. just for something differant.
I will make a new Jelly later on .. cant go out right now .. might keep the little individual jellies anyway .. they are only small 1-2 tbs portions .. but quite strong I think so should still be ok - maybe ???
I just it to be right .. would prolly get upset if it didnt turn out right .. lol .. am a bit sensitive when it comes to things like that :angel:

If they are that small you could always empty them into the larger tub of unset jelly to make a larger batch. Or even make a complimentary flavour (different colour) jelly and put in cube of the first jelly as it cools enough to not dissolve the first set, then you could have artistic diferent coloured squares in the jelly.

Yeah that might work .. because when I went to pour them into a big bowl and mix them together they had already set too much
