ok I turned it on :bounce:
Now all I need is for the people that know me, there must be some after all this time to happily vouch for me and say I'am who I say I'am.
Blantant plug for myself I know, but don't ask dont get. :grin:

This part of the system allows for “friends” on the site to Vouch for your profile. It is purely designed to allow others who actually know you in real life to Vouch that your details are correct. It is in no way a reflection that you know them any other way than socially as a friend. However, it does allow other members to have increased confidence that your profile is real and accurate even if you have no Meet Rep.
You can only vouch for someone’s profile if you have both confirmed each other already as friends on the site. The details of the vouch are the only part of the whole system that must be public. This ensures that people vouching for their friends’ profiles have some degree of accountability and will, therefore, think twice about doing it for people that they don’t actually know.

you are very correct to point that out, over the time i have been here my friends list has been short and several are no longer here. But I have met people here on a social basis mostly from the cafe, hence my asking in here.
If noone wishes to acknowlegde so be it, but as I said you dont ask you dont get.

Do what was suggested, if you exchange PMs with other members then you can give them a 'site rep' which allows you to both acknowledge there is a site-based contact between you.
If you send them a friend request and they accept it then you can also Vouch for each other.
