Voyeurism &amp; Exhibitionism

I have always considered myself a bit of an exhibitionist, happy to tart around and be the life and soul of the party, however whether it's age or responsiblity creeping in dunno

I've shied away more and more. I've lost a fair bit of confidence lately and my ego boosters don't work anymore :upset:
However, I have become more and more voyeuristic, I love watching other people and at Torture Garden this weekend I was in my element ... felt fabulous watching all these wierd and wonderful acts of sexuality and debauchery :twisted:
Now I'm curious about other people .... and just being downright nosey ....
So a poll (my first I think) and I don't care how much poll haters groan LOLOLOL

Ooo good poll, and good thread... I come in both camps myself, I not allowed to 'play' as most people know, but I got a begrudged ok to watching... though will leave out if I had any success on that front or not, even if you are nosey ;)

We have actually gone from being watchers to exhibitionists,
we actually like doing both,all depends on how you feel on the night.
theres nothing better than walking thru them playroom doors,and seeing
all those naked bodies doing what comes naturally wink

Neither really bothers me enormously but I'd rather get in there in whatever is going on. :twisted: although sometimes I do like to hold back and just watch.

I adore being an exhibitionist when the mood takes and the circumstances are right unfortunately the opportunities do not arise very often.
The same goes for voyeurism, it is a huge turn on watching people play. Thou' I can't watch for long as the urge gets too strong and I need to play myself wink

I suspect I fall into the voy category but it's not something I've thought much about. One sign I suspect is that I find vanilla porn bland and uninteresting, but give me someone's home video and I'm up and running. I suppose the thrill comes from knowing that it's real dunno

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I like to be the voyeur and watch others at it, sometimes I like to be the exhibitionist and be the centre of attention.
I think that the majority of men could be classed as voyeurs and the majority of women as exhibitionists. It all goes back to prehistory etc when women would have to be more open and expressive in order to attract a mate and the men would circle round and watch etc.
Might not be an actual account, but I hope it gets the point across lol

Women still do it when they get dressed to go out. If they want to attract the highest number of men, they wear the least clothing.
Not everyone is like that though, but it's still prolific in the animal kingdom, and some clubs lol

Maybe in fantasy land! The majority of women are not sexual exhibitionists! If they are, how come it's so difficult to find any?!!

I think most would agree there's a world of difference between a woman (or man!) dressing sexy to feel good/ look good/ attract attention, and being a sexual exhibitionist!

I've NEVER watched but the thought of being watched is exciting. I don't know about the reality cos every time I've tried there's been no-one around. So failed exhibitionist and untried voyuer.

I am one of those that like both aspects of the scene.
Because I am not confident to start any sort of action I would probably play the role of voyeur first, but as the event progressed and my confidence grew (and my alcohol intake lol

) I would have no qualms about joining in and allowing others to watch.

I'm reallly surprised at the results tbh. If I had to guess beforehand then I would have thought that the exhibitionist category would be higher dunno

Found this thread very interesting as I'm and exhibitionist so we've always been 'exhibitionists' together, however, He sometimes loves nothing more than to watch me in action with as many guys (sometimes girls) as I can get my hands on, so I guess you could say he's a bit of both..... blink
