I'm quite keen to host a small Bi party for the first time I might ad. I'd be happy with 4-5 guys and 2 women (more of each is most welcome of course). I've been to quite a few parties but have never been able to host for obvious reasons (see profile). I have a piece of property (nice quiet and clean apartment) that I bought a couple of years ago and intend to use that as a venue.
For the moral police men and women who will never accept a married guy hosting a party, thank you, your objection is duly noted, now please move on. For the rest, are there any thoughts on how to have a successful first party? I have gotten to know a few people and so hopefully some of them will attend but the most worrisome aspect is what if just one or two people show up and it's all very awkward? Or even worse, several people show up and no one's ready to break the ice? I suppose this is all very easy if you're an attendee (after all you don't lose much if the party is a flop) but quite hard if you're the host.
