Just a quick note to everyone.
Someone added themselves to our messenger today. They gained our email address from Swinging Heaven. The address was , which would appear very alluring. They signed in, then started a conversation and immediately started sprouting nonsense about their sister who had been murdered, and how she had tried to kill her too and tat if we didn't immediately put her in contact with a number of other people she would hunt us down, etc etc.
Obviously a nutter!!
We simply deleted and blocked this person, however wanted to flag this up to other people so they don't add them and get an ear full too with a threat to boot! Not the nicest thing to happen.

We don;t know?.. We certainly have never met this person, nor chatted to them or responded to an ad under that name. Maybe they change it to stop from being booted from sites like these?
Our address must have been taken from here though, as this is an email address we set up specifically for this site.
We didn't for a moment think it was a regular from here, as the people on this site are all much too nice. We just wanted to look after you guys! Just call us your personal local bobby!!! lol. x

Bloody hell! I've heard a few tales and had experiences myself of strangers adding themselves to your msn but this tops it. There's some bloody weirdo's out there.
I hope you're not too shaken up by it. Good for you for warning us all, too.
Is there not an msn members directory that people can find you on? Can you go ex-directory, as it were?

It takes all sorts I guess...
The message itself was more surprising than scarey as it was totally unexpected and actually quite reminiscent of those emails you got as a kid telling you to pass it on or else you'd never have sex again or something, stupid but what was funnier was that Mr promptly upped and left as planned for an evening on the booze and left me alone in the house!!! That's chivalry for you! Suffice to say I'll be sleeping with the rolling pin under the bed! lol

you'll find is ppl like that who give chatroom and messages a bad name!..
you her a lot pf freaky stories, and it boud to scare a lot of ppl. and makes it harder for the mroe "sane people to be trusted!!

Not an expert but I think when you set up your profile you can click one of the boxes and it stops your e-mail address being shown. That allows you to have control over whether someone just adds you to their messenger list.
I'll try and get someone who knows more to let you know.

Ahhh that's really helpful.. Have been on the profile and changed this now to keep the email address hidden from view - you clever lot!!
Was also going to upload a cheeky pic as an avatar but it was too big?? Doh.. oh well, probably at about technology overload level for the day anyway!

could it be a geniune person who has had their acct hijacked? happened to me on and msn and was freaky and I noticed immediately ... but some people might not.

Not an expert but I think when you set up your profile you can click one of the boxes and it stops your e-mail address being shown. That allows you to have control over whether someone just adds you to their messenger list.

Yep there is,
When ya log in to the Ads. there is an option to turn it on or off..
as you may of notices some adds have got "click to email" and others dispaly there email
to change your add to show the "click here to send message"
click on
within ya personal setting page on SH.

Only trouble is your 'friend' has already got the address. I guess if you just block him on messenger permanently he'll get fed up - if he returns at all. Good luck.
By the way I've asked someone who knows to confirm what I said was the right thing on your profile.

See the icon at the bottom of your posts that says "msnm"? Usually means that's you've added your MSN address to your profile, so that any old nutter browsing the site can see it by clicking on the icon. It also means that any old nutter browsing the site can add you to their MSN list.
It's never really a good idea having it public for all and sundry to see.
