I have been looking at a few profiles, not just on this site, and i recently keep coming across this notice.......
WARNING: Any institution or person using this site or any of its associated sites for study or projects - You do not have my permission to use any of my profile or pictures in any form or forum both current or future. If you have or do, it will be considered a serious violation of my privacy and will be subject to legal ramifications. It is recommended that other members post a similar notice as well.

i've seen it a few times as well.. not to sure where it stems from though.
but in the past i have found my profile on sites ive never joined. so it could be down to that.

I;ve never come across this fem however I have read in past threads that they have seen their own personel pics on other peoples profile :shock:

It may stem from the MP, I think, who recently took a newspaper to court for "invading his privacy" about parties he attended. Apparently the privacy laws have been brought to the fore.
Please feel free to correct me, if I'm wrong.

not as far as I am aware....
for pictures people always had to get permission to use them.....
anyway.... right at the bottom of SH it says this....
"All trademarks and copyrights are the property of their respective owners.
Everything else is copyright © 2002-2009 www.swingingheaven.co.uk."
I assume that would include both pics and forum postings......

serious thats pretty low down. i have before found my photos on a singe fems profile, turned out to be a guy i had met up with a few times before, he wanted to see what it was like to be a singe fem?? odd.

not sure if he did or didnt.. but guessing it was the sites way of boosting up the number of profiles. then if my profile is anything to go by, i'm guessing it would of neededa good dusting before anyone could see it lol.

It is being deleted when we come across it though... really no need to have it as far as I can see.
If you find any of your photos on other members profiles on SH, please let us know and it will be dealt with.
If you think someone on this site is using you for a study or project without your express permission, as above!!
If someone wants to use my profile text, please do - its crap :giggle:

i was sitting at work this afternoon, and thought about this thread and was trying my hardest to think of the site i found my profile on and couldn't think. so i typed my what was then user name into google. and didnt find 1, but 4 sites with the same profile, which i had when i first started SH... i knew it was mine because it was littered with spelling errors! :-).
i do wonder if my profile for the 4 counterparts worked for them, as i only got the one reply from my ad on here back then.. and was my luck for it to be a gay bloke!.

I've seen it too, once on another site, I wonder if Uni's are doing degree courses in swinging confused

but I think there must be something going on about projects etc elsewhere on tinterweb as well because I've seen it a few times as well dunno

this is really intriguing me...does anyone know what it stems from? im guessing alot of people who have it written into their profile actually have no idea and are just copying it from others...its like some sort of chain-mail shit lol
