It's lashing down & blowing a gale. I'm thinking perfect weather for being holed up in bed with someone making our own entertainment and heat :rascal:
Does weather ever make you more or less horny? Do you like getting hot when it's hot or do the winter nights bring out your inner fire?
we off to egypt in a couple of weeks and it is hot hot hot.
mrs star gets as horny as a rabbit when it is hot.
roll on the sun lol

I like summer lightning and thunder-storms Nola. It's prolly the charged atmosphere that does it. Unfortunately Gem doesn't, cos she's a big scaredy cat, and she also insists on a Tog 10 quilt even when it's 20 odd degrees, so I'm currently sloping off to me own bed at night with not so much as a sticky, sweaty cuddle, let alone anything else that might be a bit sticky and sweaty. sad

So sorry to hear you've got miserable weather. We've just got gales, so it'll be a job cycling to the station this morning.
Personally, I prefer a warm balmy night with a gentle breeze, lying outside in a lovely garden. Perfect for kanoodeling.
But, on the other hand, a freezing, snowed under winter night, warm fire/duvet, hot chocolate. Mmm...
wink
I am definately more horny in summer but I think thats about the extended daylight rather than the weather. I always have more energy, wake earlier and go to sleep later in the summer.
Bad weather again today Nola - my place or yours?? :rascal:

Wearing flippers what? Is that rumour about sleepin with the fishes still current?
:gagged:
The weather doesn’t have any particular impact on my libido, however I adore cuddling up in bed ‘afterwards’ listening to heavy rain, especially in the daytime when most people are working!!
Loving your signature Nola – it gets me every time I read it

Thanks coco. She's one of my favourite poets and those lines remind me very much of someone.
My other favourite of hers is this:
Sonnet XLIII
What lips my lips have kissed, and where, and why,
I have forgotten, and what arms have lain
Under my head till morning; but the rain
Is full of ghosts tonight, that tap and sigh
Upon the glass and listen for reply,
And in my heart there stirs a quiet pain
For unremembered lads that not again
Will turn to me at midnight with a cry.
Thus in winter stands the lonely tree,
Nor knows what birds have vanished one by one,
Yet knows its boughs more silent than before:
I cannot say what loves have come and gone,
I only know that summer sang in me
A little while, that in me sings no more.

Edna St Vincent Millay
