Wedding Anniversary - Suggestions Needed

Those of you who know Dawn and I may wish to know that it's our 16th wedding anniversary at the end of the week. :inlove:
Dawn's got her present, a new steam iron from Tesco's, and she seems pretty excited about it. wink

Actually her main present was going to be a trip to London to see a west end show. :bandhead: banghead

Bad News ! got an email to say the performance has been cancelled.
So, I'm now stuck with a day off work, somebody picking the kids up from school in the afternoon, but nowhere to go and nothing to do. dunno

We've got a full tank of fuel, a whole day free, so what about some suggestions. And for once, the stay in bed and phone for a pizza isn't what we are looking for.

just a suggestion
if u planned to take her to london the do it,
if not a play show her something else
atleast you will visit somewhere and make the most out of it
and end with a candle light dinner in a nice resturant in london
enjoy ur day,

Take her to London !!!
Go shopping in Harrods and Lunch on the roof terrace then do the night ride on the eye ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, followed by dinner in Trade Jacks, downstairs in the park lane hilton !!!
She will love it !

What show was it you were taking her to see Ian??.... If you had been looking forward to seeing a show then try looking for another one similar....
My first thought was Stratford-upon-Avon and the theatre but that might not be to your taste dunno

What ever you do I really hope it is a lovely day out biggrin

Why don't you just buy her a vibrating butt plug that increases and decreases in size, just like the one she is going to advise her "friend" to buy wink

ive gone on the day before now and got tickets for a matinee from the theatre
then a nice meal somewhere

Hi Ian......
Firstly.... Congratulations on your 16th Wedding Anniversary......hugs and kisses to you both....
Secondly.... get up early.... and go to London.... take her wherever she wants to go, do the touristy things, or the sophisticated stuff..... whatever... but share the day together and enjoy it.... tea at Claridges is a must..... Harrods for shopping.... maybe.... get some chocolates from Charbonnel et Walker and eat them together... walk in Hyde Park holding hands....
But whatever you do doing your day together... make sure you buy her some flowers and tell her just how much you love her.......

I'd choose somewhere near the sea......
Be lovely and quiet with the kids still at school too......
And then a long late supper together - take your gladrags with ya!

Congrats Ian and Dawn,
As I am a cockney git, London is full of loverly restraunts and places to see and visit.
I am sure dawn would kill me for suggesting the science musem, with all the radio equipment. But seriously though you could try on ticket master to try and get a last minuet show.
I know a loverly italian restraunt that food is nice and quite reasonably priced if you want to know send me a pm.

Yes - I have to agree - just go to London, - you'll get a ticket for something or other from one of the west end box offices, stay the night, doa nice restaurant, have a look around soho for some new toys, have breakfast in bed in your room (!) ...... happy anniversary!

Don't think you will like what I did to my husband, just shortly after our 16th wedding anniversary - I asked him to leave!!!!! even packed for him.
