Is anyone doing anything special for Children in Need?
This year I am doing a sponsored 'run' up and down the stairs at work - what's the big deal I hear you say - none really, except that my building is 14 stories high and I am trying to beat last years total of 16 complete circuits (1 up and 1 down make 1 complete circuit) in 30 minutes. If I can manage 17 this year without dying in the process the kids will benefit by in the region of £1120 (and still counting) - please, don't any of you wonderful ladies offer to 'see me afterwards' - sadly it'll be one of the few times you get this headcase saying NO! All in a good cause though. Interested to know if anyone else is getting involved in anything.
I'm donating two Children!! confused :? :? :? :?

I think that might have been done before - let me see that'll be numbers 2,465768 & 2,465769 ! Lol
How much do you think Terry Wogan gets PAID to host Children in Need.
Remember charity begins at home, his home.

Dunno about Wogan, but it has to be less than Cherie Blair would charge (17 grand to speak at a charity gig in Australia!!) and he's a lot less irritating biggrin
Try £50,000.
Gaby Roslyn, refused to do it last year, as she would only be paid £35,000.
Guest presenters, to try to replace Angus Deyton, on Have I Got News For You, are paid £10,000, per show.
Its easy to spend other peoples money ie license payers, when you don't have to earn it.
