Sorry I know I have done a couple of threads this morning but another has just come to me. lol
What can you remember I thought it could be TV programmes, films, groups, moments in time.
I would like it kept light things that would remind others of something to jog their memories and make them smile, or cry and say oooooo noooo not that
Ok here goes
Little house on the prairie ( I used to rush home from school to watch this)
The Waltons ( If my Dad came home while watching this he used to say take a leaf out of their book on how to behave)
Porridge ( I used to really fancy Richard Beckinsale)
Captain Scarlet (had to sit through this as my brothers favourite)
Planets of the Apes ( I used to watch at a friends and then run past the bushes home)
Dr Who (Then wake up with nightmares)
Partridge family ( ooooo David Cassidy I still have all his annuals and records)
I would like to say England winning the world cup, or when man first walked on the moon (I was a little to young for these)
So what are you memories to share?
I can remember babysitting when I was about 12 and the kids I was looking after were watching Nightmare on Elm Street ( Freddy Crugger) I was petrified and still wouldnt watch it today
Innocent programmes like...Watch with Mother, Bill and Ben. lol
Lost in space, can anyone remember the black and white version?

Not here I am toooo young :P
I guess I was and always will be a bit of a girly-geek. My faves were Magpie and Tomorrow's World. Blue Peter was on my list until the departure of John Noakes; a sad day.

All this talk of lost in space reminds me of a program I used to enjoy...Land of the Giants
Supersonic (I was their for the live filming once, what a palaver all the touching up
that was done)
Swap shop (was always fascinated what people swapped)
Take art (Always wanted to send in a picture I drew bur was to shy to)
Jack n ory ( used to like to be read to, saved doing it myself)

oh goodness yes. I remember that. I wanted her eyebrows and for a number of years I had them.
The Tomorrow People?
I knew someone at scholl who convinced himself he was a Tomorrow Person.
He would grip the buckle of his belt and close his eyes.
Pause for a moment and the sprint blindly across playground/lounge/road before pausing once more, breathing out dramatically and releasing the buckle to where he had 'materialised'.
several push-chairs and a lamp-post never dampened his enthusiasm for his belief.
