Always wondered what women look at first when they meet the opposite sex.

Wedding ring finger? lol
Each person is different, personally I don't look at one specific thing, a pert botty is great but so is a great conversation or a spontaneous nature.....every guy has his USP and most women like variety.

Well I don't remember you looking in to his eyes much
Think you were busy checking other things out :evil2: :giggle:
But I have to say that it was his eyes, that attracted me to Jim. (and the fact he was an innocent thing) rotflmao

A few percentages.... is that it? rolleyes     Bloody hell I got excited for a moment or two there, but Dawn is right, I definately need that cold shower......
Are you a man or a mouse, jeeez, use PROPER HARD stats, not just descriptives, you wimp!
And what exactly are "pre-fab" stats?????? confused
I am surprised at you bluexxx. Pre-fab is of course prefabricated and it is not just a few percentages it is how the percentages are interpreted like in every other stats thats what they are for. Without the percentages and there interpretation they are quite worthless.
Usually I do them (stats) for businesses and my system has been taking over by some of the majot banks so I do not really think they are useless.
But everybody is of course free to have there own opinion.

Methinks you are really too serious, % of your posts on this thread have been moans

I know what "pre-fab" is short for, thanks
But it is clear that you don't actually know the meaning of the word "statistic"..... not in the scientific sense of the word anyways.
These links might help... probably the kinda thing I would use with data that you propose to analyse......

And I never said perceptages were useless, nor did I give any thoughts on how you might interpret your data... that is what I was asking you.
Leave it to the pros like me, eh mate

Thanks, now we are talking. To be honest Yes I wanted it to be serious after all that crap they present about this on telly.

Look at your own post. You asked what pre-fab stands for and thats why I told you.
I think by reading you comments we are actually from two different fractions. You seem to be in theoretical fraction doing beautiful statistics and the like which the man on the ground can't even read. I hold a degree as an Economist but have always made sure that my customers understand what I want to tell them. A statistic is only good if the po[eople it is made for can read, understand and porject it into reality to do better then they did before. Egg heads are important but the do not change anything they can only initiate changes. The actual changes are made by the people on theground.

GandH, she obviously didn't actually NEED you to explain what 'pre-fab' means.
I don't see how you can do any kind of stats based on comments from anyone on this site, be they male or female. It isn't a representative sample of a population and people would laugh themselves silly if you presented it as such. By 'fractions' did you in fact mean 'factions' ? I've never heard of a theoretical fraction - have heard of proper, mixed and vulgar/improper fractions but never a theoretical one.
Can't imagine how you make your customers understand anything - you don't have much of a grasp of English or a sense of humour. Did you know this is a swinger's forum where ALL opinions are welcome, whether from males or females?
Oh, and in answer to your original question, it's the eyes or the sense of humour.

No. I asked you what a pre-fab statistic was...... and I still don't know, so can you explain that to me please?
More pertinently, I don't give a fig what you have a degree in. I don't care what you do for a living, and I don't care what you do with your customers rolleyes . Why should I???
Your point regarding compiling women's responses from this thread and doing...... errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... a non-prefabricated statistic (  ) on them was what I questioned. I simply asked you what statistic you proposed to use, as what you proposed to do was a (small) peice of psychological research. Psychologists use the type of statistics I linked you to. If you do not understand these statistics you cannot do psychological research. Simple as. You may be a very good economist, but you obviously do not have the skills to do psychological research. Do you?
The skill with psychological research is not to baffle people with stats they can't understand. It is about doing number crunching with your data and then writing it up in a way that people DO understand. But if you do not know corrects stats in the first place, you can't tell the story. Can you???
Any psych undergrad who had done more than a term's work would be able to tell you what I have just done btw. It is not rocket science.
Now, go back to your economics... unless of course you would like to re-train in psychology? No, thought not.
Now, someone pass me the popcorn please, my chow mein was shite smile :) :) :)

Is it only Stats in particular that get you like that or is it math in general?
If it is only stats I would very much like to show you the standard deviation of my bell "curve" but if it is math in general we can start earlier so I can show you the rate of change of my natural log and finish later so I can be your derivative.
hmmmmm, only popped in for a quick look but im loosin the will to live....

It's only the stats that I'm interested in..... I'm very narrow minded rolleyes
But like meat2pleaseu, I am now losing the will to live smile :) :) :)

She did ask me "What is pre-fab" so I answered.
fraction - Please look it up in the Oxford Englsi Dictionary and you will see what I mean.
command of English language:
1. If youd do not even know the various meaning of fraction don't critise others
2. I am German living since 12 years in Scotland so pardon me if I misspell or use the wrong phraseology. When I write business matters I obviously use a spell and grammar checker. So far I did not have any complaints. If you prefer we can communicate in German and see how good your German is.
3. In some of your post are spelling mistakes as well.
I only said that I might do a statistic, I never said it will be scientific, I never said it will be representative. So what is all the fuss about?
The reason I started it at all was that I think that you people on SH say what you really think (that goes for most of you and that is the impression I got so far). So I thought that this would reflect a relative honest view. When scietific surveys are done they do ask people the same wuestions but as prooven in the past they are not normally the true picture. I remember the last scietific survey for the last (not this one) British ID card and the result was that the average British person owned a house worth £ 1,200,000, drove 3 cars and earned well above £ 100,000 per annum. Did you believe that?
As you said yourself this forum is all about fun. If I have fun creating a stats what is wrong with that?
Nonetheless thank you for answering the question.
bluexxx
I take your point and yes I am not a psychological expert if i need any advise on that I go to my daughter she is a forensic psychologist.
With pre-fab I ment proggies like SPSS and the like. I prefer to do my own.
This whole thing was not and will not claim any scientific relevance whatsoever and was only intended for fun.
I never claimed it to be scientific or psychological.
But I do thank you and frecklebird for our discussion on it. There is nothing like a good argument.

Sorry I forgot to add a comment regarding the sense of humor.
I normally have a good sense of humor or at least so I am told. I had to undergo a quadruple bypass operation recently and the first thing they tell you is that you have a 5% chance of dieing befor they even go into the details. After an exeperience like that one does take life a bit more serious. But as I am a positive person I am sure it will be back to normal soon.

You're right - it isn't.
Sarah sweetie, if you're doing the catering; could I have 2 larks tongues, a wren's liver and a Tuscany fried bat, please.
