Sometimes I wear nothing, sometimes I wear PJs - it depends on my mood.
Either way the PJs live under the pillow, but only since I've been married - when I was a kid they lived on a chair when I wasn't wearing them.
I think it's a woman's influence for tidyness that hides them away otherwise they'd probably be on the floor!
