"Laura" by the Scissor Sisters, as far as I know, is scientifically proven to get everybody (even me) jigging a little biggrin

Big fish little fish music?

yeah. the big fish thing is used to describe some dance moves favoured by some ( not me i hasten to add) ravers. However the music that they do it to is pretty repetative, often without lyrics and often atleast 140 plus beats per minute. usually known as "Hard House",
Ive been very into dance music since the late 80's and have DJ'd for a good while now. all the stuff i listen to and play is very very very funky ( and therefore impossible not to dance to.).
it all falls under the genre "house music" but as there are many different forms of "house" and "dance" there are some i cant stand and others which are so uplifting and funktastic that i find it impossible not to be captivated by it.........
those who know where its at will know what i mean.... and the rest of you will just plain thnk its shit...... just like i do when people talk about the sort of stuff above....
each to his own i say.......

Can't dance, don't dance!!!
Even when I'm really pissed just never seemed to want to dance or enjoyed dancing. :taz:
Listen to the likes of Yes, Pink Floyd, Rush, Zepplin which is probably why. Not exactly music to fill the dance floor!!!
I do amuse the local kids though 'cos they probably think old gits like me shouldn't have Metallica blasting out of their Ford Focus!!! banghead

My 12 year old loves Dave Mustane lolol I think there's a Metallica revival going down biggrin

That just about sums me up.....the intellectual equivalent of a 12 year old.
Either that or your child has an IQ of 350!!!
